I’m incredibly late with my February Pink Parcel review as I’m still playing catch up from being very ill on and off since before Christmas last year.
Every month Pink Parcel provides us with everything we need to get through our period with just a little less hassle. You get to choose which tampons or pads you want but we all know that the best part of this box is inside the For You box.
It’s this box that we are all really interested in. Inside we get sweet treats to soothe those pesky cravings and an assortment of beauty products to give ourselves a little boost and pampering, when we are usually feeling less than beautiful.
Merci Handy Toothpaste – RRP €4.00 5oml – Yeah, this is a decent, quality toothpaste and all BUT it’s really not something that I want to see in my For You box, if I am completely honest. I just don’t think of toothpaste as something to cheer me up during my period. I am not knocking the product. It’s very nice.
POM 925 Heart Hoop Necklace RRP £12.99 – This rather delicate, pretty necklace from Peace of Mind 925 has been exclusively designed for Pink Parcel subscribers. They are a UK-based design company and it was a lovely surprise to see this in the February Pink Parcel.
Lavolio Fondant Lovelies RRP £3.00 – I’ve actually never had proper fondant before, so it was very interesting to try these. Sweet, sugary and very, very yummy – pretty to look at too with the beautiful flower design.
My diabetes said no but my taste buds were screaming yes! Lavolio are expert Italian confectioners and it really does show in the quality of these beautiful Fondant Lovelies.
Divine White Chocolate Bar RRP £1.00 – This is a nice, creamy white chocolate, and was very luxurious in taste and texture. However, I’m very fussy when it comes to chocolate and after being introduced to Swedish white chocolate last year, nothing has still matched up to it.
Ciaté Paint Pot RRP £9.00 13.5ml – There were four colours that were available in this Ciaté paint pot. I got this stunning gold, Sand Dune. Such a really beautiful colour.
Yuyo Yerba Mint Tea RRP £4.35 for 14 – Mint tea has lots of beneficial effects and it tastes pretty decent too. It helps to boost your mood and metabolism. Personally, I’m just not a big tea drinker. I never have been and I doubt at my age I will change any time soon.
Trifle Cosmetics Hydrating Body Lotion RRP £12.95 – I’ve actually had this product before when I subscribed to So Susan Lip Love. It has an amazing buttercream smell that reminds me of vanilla cupcake frosting. Such a shame that it’s so pricey for such a small tube. Lovely product though.
SoapNskin Himalayan Bath Salts RRP £9.50 for 150gm – This smells amazing but sadly I do not have a bath any more. I wish I did because I would love to use these and relax to the scents of Lavender, Lime and Calendula oils.
Vitamasque Pomegranate RRP £12.99 box of 4 – A sheet mask for moisturising, firming and lifting. I’ve added this to my stash of sheet masks, as I have plenty of others that need using first. Therefore, I can’t say yet if it is any good or not. I will be sure to do a review on here or my IG when I get round to using it.
Overall Thoughts About The February Pink Parcel
I really enjoyed the line up for the February Pink Parcel box. Whilst not everything was specifically to my taste, all of the products were of a high quality.
My only bug bear is with the toothpaste. Is it just me that was disappointed in finding a toothpaste in my For You box? Please, comment below and let me know your thoughts on it.
There was nothing wrong with the toothpaste, it was a really lovely, quality product. So I have no problem with that. I just didn’t go ‘ooooo can’t wait to try that and pamper myself’ when I saw it! You know?
My favourite items from this box is a very close tie between the Lavolio Fondant Lovelies and the POM 925 necklace. I loved both of these.
Looking forward to seeing what is in the March Pink Parcel which should arrive in the next few days.
