Ever since I was a little girl I have had an obsession with stationery. I thought as I got older that I would grow out of it but no. Gemma of Yoohoo Mail is a graphic designer who also has a bit of an obsession with stationery. Her love for designing pretty paper products led her to creating a UK monthly stationery subscription box.
Each month she designs a whole bunch of stationery goodness, pops them in a box and ships them off to their new homes.
You can expect to find any of the following in the monthly boxes:
To Do Lists
Menu Blanks and Place Settings
And much more!
February’s Yoohoo Mail box was ‘Hello Happy‘ and as the bright, cheery yellow tissue paper suggests, this box was about spreading some joy and happiness. A positive start to a fresh new year.
What better way than this Happiness Planner to keep you focused on the positive and happy things in your life. It’s great that you can note down all the things that make you happy. This would be ideal to laminate and use an erasable marker pen on.
A bright and fun banner to cut out and get crafty with. This would add a real splash of colour anywhere. The yellow really is such a cheerful colour too.
Quotes like this are always so much fun and look so good once framed. I really love the quote used on this print. The different fonts go really well together too and I love the simplicity of it.
This print I just adore. I really love black and pink together, so the design is just fab. Of course, the flamingo illustration and quote are perfect too.
These 4 positivity cards are really lovely. I like the subtle marble design used for the background. I like the different use of fonts too. Every quote is just really positive and upbeat.
Two postcards in very different designs. One bold and bright and the other in softer pink & yellow watercolours. I really love both of these designs. It’s such a nice thing to be able to send a postcard these days.
Lastly are these rather gorgeous 4 greetings cards. These are so handy to have because my daughter is always coming home from school asking if I have any birthday cards. Another thing I really love is that they are all such different designs. From simple designs like the YAY! card, to adorable bunny with glasses and a bow tie. They are all blank inside too.
Overall Thoughts About the February Yoohoo Mail Box ‘Hello Happy’
I thoroughly loved every single item in this box and I loved the idea of the ‘Hello Happy’ theme too.
All of the designs were so great; Gemma is obviously very talented. It’s definitely a very happy and positive themed box, that’s for sure!
Also, its incredible value for only £10.00 per month with FREE UK postage too! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to receive so much in just one box. It was a stationery obsessives dream come true opening this box! lol
It impressed me that much, that I have already ordered the March Box, and I cannot wait to see what will be in that one. The March box theme is ‘Wild & Free’.
