As you can imagine straightening hair that long usually takes a lot of time. The Lee Stafford Hair Straighteners comes packaged really well in a hot pink & black box. It comes with an easy to understand instructions. I actually let my daughter try them first because I wanted to see how easy she found them to use, from reading the instructions. She is almost 14 and had no problem understanding the instructions and using them with ease.

The Lee Stafford Academy Straighteners are a great product. It’s easy to set up and comes with a guide card with different settings depending on your hair type and length. When using it takes a minute to heat up to the set temperature. It doesn’t burn your hair if it’s being used on a high heat. However, you can’t hold it in one place for too long.
I have long hair and for the temperature recommended on the guide (180c – 190c) it takes about 10 minutes to straighten my hair. When I used the product I had to follow down my hair with a brush to straighten any bits I had missed. It’s a really good product to use especially if you’re in a rush and don’t want to spend ages on doing your hair. After turning the straighteners off it takes about 10 minutes for them to cool down.
I completely agree with her. They are extremely quick to heat up and you can straighten a whole head of long hair in around 10 minutes or so. With other straighteners, the same process would have taken me 40 minutes or so.
If you travel, they also come with a heat protection guard. So you know the plates won’t get damaged during travel. I really like that you can choose different temperatures. So, it’s easy to select the best temperature for your own hair. Previously I’ve only used ones that come with 2 settings – high/low. These are a lot more precise, so you can be sure you won’t damage your hair, from overheating it.

They also leave your hair looking incredibly smooth and silky. You really don’t get any frizz, well, my daughter and I certainly didn’t when using them.
