I’d been looking forward to Little-Known Box debut beauty box since before I actually subscribed and I was really excited when it arrived. It’s great that this subscription box promises to bring us new and upcoming brands in their boxes. I like nothing better than discovering something new each month.
The packaging was gorgeous, a chic black box with gold embossed logo and you open it up to find the classy ribbon and wrapping before getting to the goodies inside.
I was thrilled to see the The Vintage Cosmetic Company eyelash curlers in a pretty rose gold, as I already have a pair of their exquisite tweezers and I just so happened to need a new eyelash curler too! I have used these the past couple of days and my old eyelash curlers have been thrown away. These curl my lashes so much better than my previous ones. Full Size – Retail £7.00
I’ve also wanted to try some nail wraps as they are something I’ve not yet come across in any of my other subscription boxes and now I can, thanks to the Thumbsup Nail Wraps. Full Size – Retail £7.99
Next was the Medusa’s Make-Up Lip Gloss in the shade ‘Space Invader’. This colour is very sheer, despite looking so vibrant and red in the tube. It feels nice on the lips and gives a subtle colour and the glitter is minimal too. It is also cruetly free & vegan. Full Size Retail £6.25
I look forward to trying the Dirtea Exfoliating Coconut Scrub. This should be perfect for my dry, sensitive skin. 1 pack 14g – Retail 8 Dirtea Packets £16.42 (Approx £2.05 per pack)
The Flint Plus Flint Moisturiser 3x is very nourishing especially if you have dry skin like myself. I am familar with their products as I already have their Exfoliator 2x so it was a pleasant surprise to see their Moisturiser 3x included in the box. 50ml Full Size – Retail £42.00
All in all, a very impressive first box with a total retail value of just over £65.00. I look forward to seeing what Little-Known Box offers in June.
My Overall Thoughts
I really love the idea of a beauty box that is going to bring me brands and products each month that I may never heard of, or have had little experience of. As far as I know, there isn’t another beauty subscription box that does this. I was really impressed with their first box and the overall value for money in the products that were included. I hope they continue this impressive line up of quality brands and products in their future boxes. So, if you want to explore new brands and products each month, you should definitely try this box out!
How Much Does It Cost?
Little-Known Box – From £12.45 + P&P per month.
