I don’t know about you but I welcome a touch of luxury during my period and Ms Flow is all about giving us exactly that.
We all get mood swings, food cravings, annoying skin break outs, bloating, cramps and well, you know how it is each month. Ms Flow aims to provide us with everything we need to get through our periods and make them a more pleasant experience.
You tell Ms Flow your preferences when you sign up and then each month you will get a luxury box with your chosen tampons or pads, some delicious artisan treats and some chic beauty products to help brighten your mood.
So, let’s take a look at November’s Ms Flow, shall we!
It comes in a pretty little back & white box. The box is sturdy, so the products inside should arrive in perfect condition. Everything is wrapped in a pretty blue tissue paper this month, and the candy stripe bag that holds the sanitary items is in the same matching blue. Both have the Ms Flow logo sticker on them.
As this is a review box, I was sent an assortment of tampons and pads but when you sign up, you will be able to choose your preferences. You also get a Cura-Heat pad, which I think is a brilliant idea to help with those nasty cramps.
Ah, I spy a Lindor by Lindt. A lovely, creamy milk chocolate bar. This will definitely help towards satisfying those cravings for chocolate we all get.
If we still have a sweet itch to scratch, then we can do so with these Jellybelly Jeallybeans! Just the perfect size for a little hit of sugar! lol
To help us unwind and relax, is this lovely little Ms Flow candle in Grapefruit & Jasmine. Grab a hot drink, put your feet up and light this pretty candle and it’s sure to help you relax. It smells really lovely but not overpowering.
To treat our skin there are two products in the November Ms Flow box. The first is this Ultima II Extraordinaire Supreme Pure Collagen. This is a highly concentrated formula with pure Collagen Essence for potent firming action. It says it effectively combats slackened skin, puffiness and fine lines to reveal smoother, more lifted and brilliant looking skin.
Our second skin care product for November’s box is this Time Bomb Flashback Night Cream. This is an ultra moisturising, anti-ageing cream, which claims to be like ‘an 8hr plumping paraffin treatment’. Forming a thin barrier which locks all the beneficial ingredients and goodness into your skin whilst you sleep, this will leave your skin, plump and hydrated the next morning.
‘…a powerful blend of phytolipids, oils, hyaluronic acid and vitamins that nourish skin so it can better produce natural collagen and elastin. Unique non-water-soluble antioxidants (derived from grains instead of vegetables, like most formulas) help protect against free radical damage.’
Yogi Tea Women’s Balance is the hot drink that is included this time. This tea has a whole host of beneficial ingredients that includes thyme, liquorice, lavender and raspberry leaves. It’s a light blended of tea that is especially formulated for the needs of women.
Sometimes putting on a little make-up can really help brighten our mood, lift our spirits and just make us feel a little better. This Lord & Berry Magic Brown Eye Pencil is perfect to make sure are brows look their best. With a brow pencil at one end, and a spoolie at the other, you can have your brows looking perfect in no time.
The last item in November’s Ms Flow box is this gorgeous shower steamer from Miss Patisserie in an array of pastel colours. Just place the steamer on the floor of your shower and the hot water will create steam, infused with oils, to make showering a relaxing and refreshing experience.
I really liked the Ms Flow November box. It definitely feels a touch more luxurious than other period subscriptions. This definitely shows in the items that are included too. It’s not just full of some cheap bits and bobs than have been thrown together.
The Ms Flow candle is a lovely touch too, and also the Cura-Heat pad. With items like the Ultima II & Time Bomb Flashback Night Cream, you know you are getting that little bit extra in this period subscription box. Then you have the hand-made items like the Miss Patisserie shower steamer, the luxury chocolate by Lindt. Not forgetting the Lord & Berry Magic Brow.
It really is a luxury pamper package for your period each month.
