Oxynergy Skincare Review

I first got to try out an Oxynergy product as their Oxynergy Paris Power Infuse Cushion Foam was one of the featured products in a Little-Known Box. I fell in love with it and after my review, Oxynergy contacted me to ask if I would like to try some more of their products and review them. Of course, I was delighted too.

Oxynergy sent me their Power Infuse Toning Mist and their Everlasting Deep Repair Cream to try out and I received them at the end of July.

The beginning of August I incorporated these products into my morning skin care routine to begin with, so I’ve been using them for a little over a month now.  I feel this is a more than adequate time for me to be able to now give an honest review of them.

My skin is very sensitive, very dry and I suffer with stress induced psoriasis too, which means sometimes I have patches of it on my face, mainly under my eyes. It’s very hard to find products that do not irritate this area in particular, so I was very interested to see how I got on with the Everlasting Deep Repair Cream and Power Infuse Toning Mist. I already knew that the Oxynergy Paris Power Infuse Cushion Foam was fantastic on my skin, so I hoped these products would be the same.

First, let’s recap over the Oxynergy Paris Power Infuse Cushion Foam in case you missed my initial review of it.

Oxynergy Paris Power Infuse Cushion Foam (180 ml) is suitable for all skin types. As I mentioned earlier, I have very sensitive, dry skin and this product felt lovely on it. It didn’t irritate but gently cleansed my skin and the particles in it, which according to their website are mini sponges, felt really nice  as they massage and exfoliate to leave the skin feeling very soft; not dry and tight. It contains amino acids and essential trace elements  (Copper,  Zinc,  Calcium,  Magnesium) and a natural sugar based cleansing agent.

Active Ingredients:  Peptides; essential trace elements (Copper, Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium).

Benefits:  Gently cleanses the skin; moisturises & refreshes; boosts oxygen consumption of the skin cells and increases natural cell energy (ATP); stimulates cellular renewal for a brighter skin; growth factor actives ensure long-term rejuvenation of the cell’s vital functions; provides the skin with nutrients responsible for maintaining biological balance; helps the skin to defend against tiredness, stress and ageing; calcium protects against ageing process (anti-hyaluronidase activity, reduces glycation, neutralising free radicals) – www.OhSoSavvy.co.uk

My skin felt wonderful afterwards; leaving it bright, soft and rejuvenated. Oh, and can I just say, this also has a gorgeous smell.  You can purchase Oxynergy Paris Power Infuse Cushion Foam via www.OhSoSavvy.co.uk  – Retail £23.50 180ml

The Power Infuse Toning Mist is also suitable for all skin types.  To use you apply after cleansing, hold the bottle about 30cm from your face and then spray liberally. Then wipe your face with a cotton pad. It’s so easy to use and has an absolutely gorgeous light, fresh scent. Honestly, it really smells amazing.

The scent of it is just an added bonus because it is also amazing on the skin. I always, ALWAYS have a red face after cleansing, which has absolutely nothing to do with the cleanser but everything to do with water. Yes, water irritates me. Even my own tears burn my face. This toner, however, calms all my redness almost instantly. I spray it over my face and it feels, cooling and soothing. I wipe a cotton pad gently over my face and my skin feels wonderful afterwards. I’ve even taken to using this toner anytime my skin gets remotely irritated because it really does ease it and any redness disappears almost immediately. I absolutely love it. I’ve taken to using it both morning and night now. I also love that it doesn’t make my skin feel tight after use either like some other toners can do. My skin just feels, soft and nourished.

Active Ingredients: Amino acids, Peptides, Essential trace elements (Copper, Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium), Vegetal Glycerin.

cream

The Oxynergy Everlasting Deep Repair Cream is for very dry and sensitive skin types, so is absolutely perfect for my skin.

Anti-ageing cream to decrease redness and soothe sensitive skin. Contains bisabolol, Telangyn (anti redness peptide), pepper extract from Tasmania, bioflavonoids, natural extracts, peptides, amino acids, essential trace elements (Copper, Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium), vitamin A, C and E.

Does not contain paraffin, silicon, parabens or harmful preservatives. Has a balanced pH, colouring free.

This cream is just honestly wonderful. I had a very nasty experience with a sheet mask not too long ago, and it really burnt and irritated my skin, you can see pictures here. This cream (along with the Toning Mist) was the saving grace for my skin. It’s so incredibly gentle on the skin yet rich and very nourishing at the same time. There is absolutely nothing harsh in this to cause any reaction. It reduced my redness and irritation, as I had patches on the tops of my cheeks that were so badly affected, that the skin was all puckered and tight where it had dried out so much. The skin flaked and it was in dire need of help. The Everlasting Deep Repair Cream made a huge positive impact on these areas in a very short space of time. The flaky, dry tight skin started to fade and was replaced by soft, smooth skin. I cannot thank the cream & the toner enough for saving my skin.

The cream itself is very thick but it absorbs into the skin effortlessly and you really only need to use a small amount, so you know it’s going to last a long time. You can feel the soothing, calming effect of it when applying. Using this cream in the morning leaves my skin completely hydrated throughout the day. I was actually amazed at how long my skin stayed feeling so soft and nourished. You know how your skin feels after applying moisturiser? It feels silky soft and you can literally feel the hydration? Well, that’s how my skin felt ALL day, well into the evening. It’s absolutely lovely.

Actives: Amino acids, Peptides, Essential trace elements (Copper, Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium), Vegetal Glycerin,  Tasmania pepper extract, Telangyn anti redness peptide (Acetyl tetrapeptide-40), Bisabolol, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Bioflavonoids, Oak leaves extract, Green tea leaves extract.

Benefits: Immediately reduces itching and burning sensations, Reduces skin redness, Soothes, Anti-inflammatory, Reduces telangiectasia, Reduces collagen degradation, Boosts oxygen consumption of the skin cells and increases the natural energy of our cells (ATP), Stimulates cellular renewal, for a brighter skin, Revitalises the cutaneous metabolism and insures long-term rejuvenation of the cell’s vital functions because of a growth factor like activity, Provides the skin with nutrients responsible for maintaining biological balance, Helps the skin to defend itself actively against tiredness, stress and ageing, Calcium protects against ageing process (anti-hyaluronidase activity, reduces glycation, neutralizes free radicals). – www.OhSoSavvy.co.uk

Overall Thoughts

The packaging is simply beautiful, modern, elegant and clean.  I really love the products I have been able to try and would highly recommend them to anyone and most definitely to people who have sensitive skin. I have found them to be so beneficial and I also think that my skin seems a little less sensitive than it was before I started using them. I am so grateful that I got to try these products out and have really enjoyed and will continue to enjoy, using them every day.
