The six perfumes to choose from for June are:
Daisy by Marc Jacobs
She by Emporio Armani
Be Delicious by DKNY
Flowerbomb by Viktor & Ralf
Classique EDT by Jean Paul Gautier
Jimmy Choo EDP by Jimmy Choo
I have used the same perfume for years because honestly, I don’t want to waste a lot of money on a fragrance I later might decide I do not like. I find sampling a fragrance in store just too overwhelming with smells, for my liking. After trying several fragrances in store I can never remember which is which and usually my nose and it’s ability to actually smell has become ‘numb’ and all the perfumes just mingle into one. So I always used to end up purchasing nothing and going home empty-handed.
I like to be able to try one fragrance, appreciate all the top notes, the heart and then the base notes; see how it wears on me because what might smell gorgeous on a friend might smell completely differently on you and also see if it is a long wearing fragrance or if it’s one that dissipates quickly. I don’t think you can judge a fragrance by one quick squirt on your wrist, over the counter by a sales assistant who is all too willing to sell you anything.
With this monthly subscription you get to pick a fragrance you think you might like, try it out for a full month and then if you like it, well, you can go ahead and purchase a full size bottle knowing full well you already love the fragrance. Or maybe you’d just like to have the opportunity to switch your perfume up on a fairly regular basis but don’t want to have to purchase a lot of expensive bottles of perfume. The choice is yours. Fantastic, isn’t it?!
It comes packaged in a simple, well padded jiffy bag, which should easily be able to slip through your letterbox each month, so you never have to wait in for it.
Your first order comes with a reuseable case that will hold any of the monthly refills you order in the future, and of course your first chosen refill of fragrance. The case itself is wrapped neatly, and simply in pretty tissue paper, sealed with a Scentpick logo sticker.
The reuseable case itself is sleek, chic and black with a handy little twist up spray function; perfect to pop in your bag when travelling etc. It’s not fussy, which I like, it’s easy to use and a fantastic size to carry around. One pump of the spray delivers a perfect fine mist in just the right amount. So convenient to be able to just pop whichever Scentpick refill you want to use into; it makes switching perfumes extremely easy. Your chosen fragrance comes in a refill bottle that holds 8ml which should be perfect to last you for 30 days.
All in all, I am very pleased with my first Scentpick and I am really excited and looking forward to seeing what the July perfumes will be. I had a hard enough time deciding out of this months. as honestly, I wanted to choose them all not just one! lol
