A relatively new beauty box on the scene is My Little Beauty Box and they very kindly reached out to me to see if I would be interested in reviewing one of their boxes. Of course, I was happy to oblige and they sent me their June My Little Beauty Box to review. Obviously, I am VERY late with this review, once again due to my ill health interfering.
Now, this beauty box contains more high-end beauty brands so it may seem a little bit more expensive than a lot of beauty subscription boxes BUT if you love your make up, then you will definitely love My Little Beauty Box.
Each box will contain at least 4 full sized products, plus a couple of extras such as a tasty treat. The monthly subscription is £35 which, like I said, might seem expensive but you have to remember you are going to receive high-end products.
What’s In The Box?
Laura Geller Limited Edition ‘The Wearables’ 12 Eyeshadow Palette – RRP £32
First up in the June My Little Beauty Box is this absolutely stunning baked eyeshadow palette from Laura Geller. These gorgeous eyeshadows are highly pigmented and can be applied dry or wet for a really intense colour. They are crease resistant and long wearing. I fell in love with this palette as soon as I opened it. It really is just beautiful!
Laura Geller GlamLash Mascara
This mascara is a generous sample size and was one of the extra items in the June My Little Beauty Box. It’s a really nice mascara that didn’t irritate my eyes, which are fairly sensitive when it comes to mascaras.
Bowe Organics Lash Oil – RRP £19.99
I’m actually a big fan of lash oils as I’ve found them to be really effective to keep my lashes full and healthy. This lash oil from Bowe Organics contains Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant to help protect your lashes. Also in the ingredients is organic castor oil which will help to thicken and lengthen your lashes.
I’m still using a lash oil from another brand at the moment but intend to try this when the other oil finishes.
Yves Saint Laurent Contouring Brush – RRP £35
How gorgeous is this contouring brush from Yves Saint Laurent? I wish you could feel just how soft the bristles are on this brush! Being dual ended this is just the perfect brush for a flawless contour!
MAC Cream Colour Base – RRP £19
This MAC Cream Colour Base is the perfect base for your eyes and even lips. Allowing you to create looks that are soft and subtle to bold and dramatic looks. It’s creamy emollient based formula allows for it to be layered over foundation, moisturiser or powder.
MAC PatentPolish Lip Pencil – RRP £18
There were two MAC items in the June My Little Beauty Box, the second being this beautiful MAC PatentPolish Lip Pencil. It goes on more like a gloss but with better precision thanks to the pencil design. This is really lovely to wear as it’s not sticky like a gloss and it keeps your lips nice and moisturised.
Cadbury Crunchie Chocolate Bar
The other extra item in this box was a Cadbury Crunchie Chocolate Bar. I’ve always loved honeycomb and this is a favourite of mine since childhood. Definitely a tasty sweet treat!
Overall Thoughts on the June My Little Beauty Box
I really enjoyed this box and loved all the items. There was a really good selection of products and they would be suitable for most people I feel.
The Laura Geller eyeshadow palette was definitely the stand out product of the June My Little Beauty Box.
The total value of this box was £123.99 and the box costs £35.00 – I’d say that was a really good price.
This is a beauty box subscription that is going to appeal to makeup lovers that prefer high-end products, especially as you get at least 4 full sized products in each box.
