The July 2016 Pink Parcel was overflowing with treats, as usual; I am surprised the lid would even shut! There was a lovely assortment of products as well as a sweet treat and tea.
I recently reactivated my subscription to Pink Parcel after a few months break as I saw that they had changed their boxes somewhat and had also lowered the price too. I had been thinking of subscribing again for a while and that news clinched it for me.
What Is Pink Parcel?
Pink Parcel is a monthly period subscription box but really it’s a lot more than that. We all know how gloomy and miserable our periods can be and this wonderful subscription not only provides you with all your sanitary needs for the month but it gives you something to look forward to. Each month subscribing to Pink Parcel you know you are going to get something sweet to eat, just when our bodies are craving that sugary hit, something tasty to drink PLUS, a jam packed boxed of beauty products to pamper and enjoy yourself with. Pink Parcel take the time, care and attention each month, to lovingly curate some of the best beauty products around, just for US.
There is nothing like a box filled with surprises each month. It’s sure to your brighten your week!
The Vintage Cosmetics Company Rose Gold Tweezers are stunning. I already have a pair of their tweezers in another design, which I love and I recently received their Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers in another beauty box. The packaging, as always, is so pretty and the tweezers are a pretty Rose Gold with The Vintage Cosmetics Company etched into them. They are also really great tweezers too; they have a good grip and can pluck even the smallest, thin hairs out. (RRP £8.00)
We also received this lovely nail file as a bonus too. So cute!
A good nude nail polish is always a welcome addition to my collection and this Lottie London one is just that. A perfect nude, this shade ‘Rainy Day‘ is a stunning colour. Nudes are so easy to wear and look good on any nail length. (RRP £5.99)
This Cranberries & Cream Hand Cream by Patisserie de Bain is gorgeous. A generous 50 ml size, which is perfect to slip into a handbag, keep in your car or in your desk at work. It’s lovely and moisturising and smells divine. (RRP £3.99)
This Freeman Beauty Bare Foot Lotion in Lavender and Mint is a welcome treat for tired, dry feet. This lotion feels refreshing and cooling on the skin, leaving your feet feeling soft and smooth. A really nice little pamper for your feet to get them summer ready. (RRP £1.50)
I also received a black gel eyeliner from Bellápierre. This seemed like a really decent gel liner. It didn’t feel scratchy at all and it applied to the skin smoothly. It also blends out very easily so would be great if you want a smokey eye. It’s also made with 100% pure minerals, natural waxes and antioxidants. This makes it hypoallergenic and safe for all skin types. (RRP £11.20)
This gorgeous little eye shadow duo, Supercharged, from Jelly Pong Pong is very pigmented, creamy soft and applies beautifully. It is Hypoallergenic, 100% Vegan friendly and safe for contact lens wearers. Can we also just take a moment to appreciate this gorgeous packaging too? It’s so pretty and cute! I just adore Jelly Pong Pong’s packaging! (RRP £17.95)
Time for the July 2016 Pink Parcel sweet treat and it comes in the shape of Balhlsen Choco Leibniz Biscuits. A pack of 2 delicious chocolate covered crisp buttery biscuits. Really tasty and perfect for an afternoon or mid-morning snack with a tea or coffee. Unless you’re like me and don’t drink either of those. I had mine with an ice-cold glass of water. (RRP £1.29 for 129g)
Lastly, the tea for this month is La Via Del Te Tisana Sweet Relax. This is a luxury tea stocked in Harrods none the less. It’s an herbal blend carefully selected to offer relaxing properties. Perfect to go with this months biscuit, so you can put your feet up, sit back and relax and unwind.
My Overall Thoughts on the July 2016 Pink Parcel
It was a really lovely box from the July 2016 Pink Parcel this month. I’ve been really impressed since re-subscribing to them. They seem to have really listened to their customers and have changed their boxes accordingly and it really shows in the products that they are selecting for us each month. I also have to say that their customer service is second to none in my experience. Efficient and extremely helpful; they make you feel like a valued customer. Something some other customer services could learn a thing or two about.
This months total value is: £50 plus
