Oh, how the months are flying by now! October already and of course time for the October 2016 Pink Parcel!

The ‘For You’ box, which let’s face it is the bit everyone is really interested in, was full to the brim again. Plus, there were the usual supplies of sanitary necessaries too.

I’ve never had any Barry M products before, not really sure why, just have never purchased any. I think this is the first time I have received any in a box either. This is a great neutral shade. It’s matte but also has a teeny tiny shimmer too. Retail Price ยฃ2.99

Oh, I have a confession, this cake, well, *coughs* I may have eaten this whilst unpacking the rest of the box. I do enjoy a nice piece of fruitcake. This Coco Bazaar by Tipple Tails was really yummy, packed with juicy, plump fruit, and the flavours were so rich. I loved the subtle flavour of the Turkish Delight liqueur that ran through it too. The slice you get is very generous too. I loved this cake, it’s the nicest edible treat I’ve ever had in a Pink Parcel! Retail Price ยฃ15.95 for 454g

I was also thrilled to see this Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm. in the October 2016 Pink Parcel I’ve seen some really great reviews about Merumaya products and had always wanted to try some. This gentle cleansing balm containsย Sweet Almond Oil, Echium Oil, Omega 3,6,9 and anti oxidants. You can gently but effectively remove all your makeup & the day’s dirt from your face with the first use. Then use a second time to get a really deep clean. Leaving your skin feeling soft and hydrated. It also smells absolutely gorgeous too! ย Retail Price ยฃ16.50 100ml

Dr. PawPaw is another brand I have seen people rave about but have somehow never tried myself. This is Dr. PawPaw’s Original Balm that can be used on your lips, dry patches of skin, hair and nails and well, just about anywhere that is dry and needs some moisture love! Once applied the balm will also form a natural barrier preventing dry out, locking the moisture into your skin. The main ingredient is fermented Pawpaw and the fruit of the plant Carica Papaya and it is fragrance and Paraben free too. It’s in a handy tube, so you can drop it in your desk drawer at work, into your handbag, or even keep it in your car! Retail Price ยฃ6.95 25ml

Ah, the dreaded cramps and tummy issues that come along with it. This We Are Tea Soothe for tummy relief contains mint, ginger and fennel. Mint and ginger are particularly good at helping stomach issues. I’ve had both mint and ginger tea to help soothe my stomach before. Mostly I grab a wheat bag and hot water bottle but this tea offers alternative relief when that isn’t always practical and provides a hug in a mug, so to speak. Warming and soothing your stomach and helping ease the annoying period bloat. Retail Price ยฃ 3.49 for 12

There is the familiar feminine hygiene Sass Purifying Cleanser in a sample size. This is a ph balancing formula and is designed to encourage the growth of good bacteria to keep your *insert whatever you refer to down there as’ clean and fresh as a daisy! Retail price ยฃ7.00 for 100ml

Ahh, Anatomicals! I just love their packaging haha! I had some of their eye cream a couple of years ago and it was actually really good and also really inexpensive! This Anatomicals Mattifying Face Mask is suited for greasy skin and helps to control the production of sebum that in turn leads to blackheads developing when they oxidise. Keep your pores and blackheads under control with this fab little mask! Retail Price ยฃ3.00

Coconut Oil has so so many uses. I HATE the taste of it but adore the smell of it, go figure, huh! The Vita Coco Coconut Oil can be used as a moisturiser, for your hair or use it in your cooking. Talk about multi-purpose. Retail Price ยฃ5.99 250ml

Oh how I love love love this Rare Nail Polish Set. There were 3 different ones you could have gotten in your Pink Parcel this month. This one, which is Showgirl and the other two were Chocoholic and Underworld.
Personally, I am thrilled I got Showgirl because I adore red nail polish and just look at that dark berry red and that stunning glitter! Simply gorgeous and will be great for the upcoming festive season and parties. I also love the mini decals that come with it too. I can’t wait to try it out. Retail Price ยฃ11.95 per set
My Overall Thoughts on the October 2016 Pink Parcel

I think the October 2016 Pink Parcel is my favourite so far this year. I feel like I always say that but they continue to put together such fantastic boxes each month.ย I love that we get sweet treats, man, that cake was really just mouth-watering.

The gorgeous Showgirl nail polish set. I don’t know what the other sets were like but this one ticks all the boxes for me!

It really was such an excellent selection of products this time. I can’t actually fault it really. It wasn’t until I was writing this that I realised just how many items there were this month too! I feel truly spoiled.
