December is a busy time for most people’s social calendars. Be it visiting family and friends or Christmas parties and all that. December’s Little Bit Lavish ‘Social Butterfly‘ themed box has been curated with this in mind, to get us through the festive period ahead.
Little Bit Lavish have really nailed all their themed boxes so far, since their launch earlier this year. It’s worth mentioning that Becky really does go out of her way to put together a really fabulous array of products for her boxes. Each themed box is very well thought out and the one thing that really stands out for me is that the items she selects, a lot of the time, you won’t find them making appearances in other boxes.
So, let’s take a look at this months box, Social Butterfly.
I’m pretty sure most boxes don’t even think about putting in a New Year Diary in their December boxes but wait until January to do it. At that time most of us have already purchased diaries. It was really lovely to see a 2017 Diary included in this months box. This Busy B Slim Diary for 2017 (RRP £7.99) is really cute and perfect to keep in a bag and to keep you organised for the year.
I absolutely love under eye masks like these Jamela Gold Crystal Collagen Under Eye Masks (RRP £17.00 per 5pk). These are great to pop on either during a night-time skin care routine, or alternatively in a morning. Just pop these on for around 30 minutes and your under eye area will feel, cooled, refreshed and it will help reduce any puffiness too. These are an absolute must for anyone that likes late nights but doesn’t want tired eyes!
I think this was a really lovely festive idea. A little cracker kit to make 75cl of Mulled Wine. It’s Green Cuisine Mulled Wine Spice Mix (RRP £1.50). This is a fabulous idea and great if you get sudden guests popping in for a visit; all you need to do is add a bottle of wine.
To add a little sparkle and shimmer so you can get your festive glow on, is this Cougar Beauty Highlighter (RRP £19.00). This is a stunning rose gold highlighter which will surely add that touch of glam glow to your look this party season.
I’ve become quite a fan of solid perfumes and this Glow For A Cause Solid Perfume (RRP £12.00) . This scent, ‘Wish’, smells amazing. This is such a fabulous little pot of solid fragrance that you can take anywhere with you. It’s such a convenient size to pop into practically anything. It may be small in size but it has the most gorgeous scent and is really long-lasting too. I find solid perfumes always last longer than your average EDT or EDP.
‘A magical blend of sparkling light florals, white tea, and bergamot grounded by light musks.’
Ingredients:coconut oil, beeswax, organic shea butter, organic cocoa butter, vitamin E and GLOW’s signature perfume blends
This White Rabbit Skincare Chocolate Orange Lip Balm (RRP £4.00) smells divine. Think Terry’s Chocolate Orange and you will be spot on. Delicious smell and a very nourishing lip balm – just don’t eat it, even though it smells good enough to eat! It’s Vegan friendly and has a whole host of beneficial ingredients: Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Olive Wax and Sweet Orange Oil. This lip balm will help to make sure you have lovely, soft kissable lips for under the mistletoe!
Overall Thoughts About December’s Social Butterfly Theme
Once again Little Bit Lavish has nailed their theme, perfectly. They’ve thought outside the box by including the Green Cuisine Mulled Wine Spice Mix and the Busy B Slim 2017 Diary but have also included some other very useful items for this time of year.
Actually, they’ve really covered all bases. Becky has thought about the fact that we’re likely to need to perk up our tired eyes. Treat our lips from the cold, winter weather and the heating indoors that sucks all the moisture out of them. Plus, a handy solid perfume that’s super convenient to carry in a bag. Everything a ‘Social Butterfly‘ will need to keep organised and looking good during this busy time of year.
I always wonder each month how Little Bit Lavish will top their theme the following month but they keep doing it. Since they launched they have consistently sent out really well planned and executed boxes and I am really looking forward to seeing what they will bringing to us in 2017!
