The sun is actually shining today and I cannot believe we are already halfway through March! In fact, the March Degusta Box was delivered earlier today too. Meanwhile, I am only just bringing you the Degusta Box for February 2021.
Now, if you are new here and have never heard of Degusta Box UK I’ll quickly explain what it is and how it works.
Degusta Box UK is a monthly subscription box that contains between 10-15 items each month, most of which are new to the market. You can read some of my reviews for previous boxes here. It costs £12.99 per month. You can also find a discount at the end of the post. So, that means you’ll pay just £9.99 for your first box!
Degusta Box for February 2021 Theme & Contents
So, let’s dive right in so I can share with you the contents of the Degusta Box for February 2021. The February box had a theme of ‘Home Comforts‘.
What’s In The Box?: Drinks
Koko Original Milk (rrp £1.50) – This milk is made from freshly pressed coconuts. A great alternative to milk and is dairy and soya free, in case you can’t have those either. You can use it in your hot drinks, on cereal, basically anywhere you would use milk, you can probably substitute it with this. Also has a really light, fresh taste.
Eloments Vitamin Tea Ceylon Breakfast (rrp 3.99) – I don’t drink tea so I didn’t try this myself but I was told that it makes a great cuppa first thing in the morning, so I’d say that’s a thumbs up.
What’s In The Box?: Sweet Treats
Bounce Almond Plant Protein Ball (rrp £1.69) – Recently relaunched this nut butter protein ball packs a lot of protein. It’s high in fibre, gluten free and less than 160 calories for anyone that wants to know those stats! One of my sons tends to grab these as he loves them and especially as this was a nut butter filled one. he gave it two thumbs up too.
BelVita Soft Bakes Chocolate/Blueberry (rrp £0.60) – I really wanted to love these but I just didn’t. I found them really bitty to eat, like sawdust with flavour. I don’t know, I just wasn’t a fan of the texture, so it really prevented me from enjoying them. The actual flavours were nice, it was honestly just the texture itself that put me off so much. You would have received 3 of these in the Degusta Box for February 2021.
Boka Caramel/Choco Mallow Cereal Bar (rrp £0.75 single or £2 a pack of 4) – Both of these were nice, had great taste and texture and pretty healthy, plus only 96 cals too! You would have received 2 of these in your box.
Jaffa Cakes Passion Fruit/Cherry (rrp £1.20) – I love Jaffa Cakes and cherries! So, of course, I absolutely loved the Cherry flavour. I’m very much on the fence on the Passion Fruit flavour though. I truly can’t decide if I like it. I mean, you could definitely taste it but I much preferred the Cherry ones. The Degusta Box for February 2021 had both of these flavours in it.
Milkybar® Cookies & Cream Sharing Bag (rrp £1.59) – I have loved white chocolate, especially Milkybar® since I was a kid. So, I found these were really tasty and I loved the creamy white chocolate contrasted with the crunch of the cookie pieces! Therefore, I’ll be buying these in the future for sure!
Hartley’s Strawberry Jam (rrp £1.59) – Of course, you can’t go wrong with Hartley’s Jam if you ask me. Just give me a scone and some clotted cream to go with and I’ll be very happy! So, it’s no surprise that I’d give it 10 stars if I could!
Hilltop Blossom Honey (rrp £0.75) – Pure and natural honey, what more could you want? I actually don’t like honey myself but the rest of my family d. They loved it, so these lasted approximately 2 seconds!
What’s In The Box?: Savoury
Knorr Vegetable/Beef Stock Pots (rrp £0.95) – The February box contained both of these stock pots. We use them a lot in our house, they always add such a great flavour to dishes. So I was really pleased to have these in the box.
Very Lazy Chopped Chillies (rrp £1.50) – These make a fantastic addition to any cupboard. There’s no messing about chopping chillies and it only takes a teaspoon to heat things up!
Lost the Pot Noodle Roasted Chicken / Sweet Chilli (rrp £0.80) – These new Lost the Pot noodles are available in 3 flavours, you would have received 2 in your Degusta Box. Make a quick snack, or lunchtime meal in just minutes. They’re really tasty too!
My Overall Thoughts on Degusta Box for February 2021
The selection of products for the February box was actually pretty good. So, there wasn’t one single item that all of us disliked.
My favourites for this month were definitely the 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 Jaffa Cakes, Hartley’s Strawberry Jam and the Milkybar® Cookies & Cream; they did not last very long at all. It was really nice having that cookie crunch to them though!
