I’ve become quite fond of Degusta Box UK as it’s constantly allowing me to try new things. Being such a picky eater, it’s excellent for me to try things first, without feeling I am wasting money on something I won’t later eat. The February 2017 Degusta Box UK seems to be full of snacks & treats this month. There was even a bottle of wine!
Sweet Treats

Willy Chase’s Fit Popcorn RRP £1.99-£2.19
This Salted Honey is one of five flavours you could have received in your February 2017 Degusta Box UK. These are gluten-free – great news for me as someone who has a gluten intolerance. Also only 107 cals per serving. I do like popcorn and these were nice. In all honesty, though, it just tasted like salted popcorn. I couldn’t really taste the honey at all.

Bebeto Candy Crush RRP £1.69
As the name suggests, these candies are fun candies based on the Candy Crush game. I do like stuff like this. These were fruity, and fun and they had a lot of flavour to them. I wasn’t 100% keen on all the candies, I preferred some over others. They are mixed fruit flavour jelly.

Bebeto Cheese Cake Jelly Gums RRP £1.69
Another fun bag of gummy candies to share from Bebeto. These are cheesecake-shaped jelly candies with real fruit juice. Both of the Bebeto share bags are February 2017 Degusta Box UK product of the month too.

Maui and Sons Dark Chocolate Coated Banana Chips RRP £ 1.00
These banana chips make a healthier gluten-free snack choice. The banana chips are cooked in coconut oil and then coated in dark Belgian chocolate. They are crunchy and tasty. Something different to snack on. Also Vegan and preservative-free.

New York Delhi’s Americanos RRP £1.00
Quality, roasted Guatemalan coffee beans covered in dark chocolate and ready to eat. I don’t like coffee, so I didn’t try these. It’s funny as I like the smell of coffee. I just don’t like the taste. Others did try them though. They had quite a strong, intense flavour and weren’t really that they liked too much. If you love coffee and dark chocolate, I am sure you would love these though!

Diablo No Added Sugar Cream Filled Milk Chocolate Wafer RRP £0.95
This is quite a tasty wafer bar. It’s full of flavour but free of any added sugar, so no need to feel so guilty eating one of these.

Peppersmith Dental Mints OR Dental Chewing Gum RRP £1.50 ea
I liked both of these. They were fresh, minty and quite strong and a bonus being sugar-free. You would have received one of these in your February 2017 Degusta Box UK.
Drinks

Koko Dairy Free Original RRP £1.50
This is a milk alternative made from freshly pressed coconut milk. It’s free from lactose and soya and it has added Calcium and Vitamins D2 & B12. With fewer calories than skimmed milk, you can substitute this wherever you would use milk. This was not for me but the rest of my family enjoyed it.

Just Bee Honey Water ‘Blueberry’ RRP £1.49
This is a simple refreshing alternative to plain water. It has only 49 calories, no refined sugar and nothing artificial. Simply water, juice from blueberries and a hint of lemon juice. Just Bee was created by a family of British beekeepers. I liked this and it’s a great choice for hydration for those that don’t like drinking plain water.

Blossom Hill Fruit Bloom ‘Hints of Elderflower’ RRP £4.99
You could have received this or the Summer Fruits flavour in your February 2017 Degusta Box UK. Sadly due to my medication, I couldn’t try this – no alcohol for me. I was assured it was lovely when chilled. It was fruity and it certainly did have light bubbles in it.

Coldpress ‘Berry Beets’ RRp £ 2.79
One of two flavours you could have received. Crammed with natural fruit and vegetable juices and is lower in naturally occurring sugars too. I cannot stand beetroot BUT I did try this. I wanted to love it and it did have a mostly fruity taste. The aftertaste, however, had this kind of beetroot tang to it. Love the idea, but would love to try a different flavour than this one.
Double Dutch Mixer ‘Pomegranate & Basil’ RRP £1.19
This was very different. Probably great for someone who loves to mix different drinks and cocktails. Really not something I liked though. The only mixer I enjoy is Ginger Ale.
Savoury Snacks
Kabuto Rice Noodles RRP £1.99
A quick and easy snack if you’re in a rush. I can’t eat anything with peppers in it due to intolerance but a family member had this and said it was really tasty. Full of flavour and super easy to prepare. It is made with authentic quality Asian ingredients, with no preservatives or additives either.

Heinz Beans No Added Sugar RRP £0.65 x 2
I’ve loved beans on toast since I was little and I still love it. I have tried the NAS ones before and I wasn’t too keen on the taste. This is a new recipe though and I’m glad to say, it is much improved.

Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar RRP £6.95 500ml
There was a free gift sample of this apple cider vinegar too. I know this has a lot of health benefits and many people actually take a shot of apple cider vinegar each day. Seriously google apple cider vinegar and you will find a whole host of things that it has been proven to be beneficial for.
