The June 2016 Little-Known Box is their second box and I have to say I think they matched the same standards they set with their launch box in May.
All your essential face needs are in this box. Therefore, whatever the weather may be doing, your skin will be glowing. In June’s box, there are three full-sized products, one travel size and a 15 ml bottle sample, plus 2 bonus samples.
Oxynergy Paris Power Infuse Cushion Foam (180 ml)
This is for all skin types. I have very sensitive, dry skin and this product felt lovely on it. This cleanser did a beautiful job of cleansing my skin. My skin was gently cleansed by the particles in it, which according to their website are mini sponges. They feel really nice as they massage and exfoliate your skin. As a result, they leave the skin feeling very soft; not dry and tight. It contains amino acids and essential trace elements (Copper, Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium) and a natural sugar-based cleansing agent.
My skin felt wonderful; bright, soft and rejuvenated. In addition, I am now very curious about their other products. The Power Infuse Cushion Foam had a lovely scent to it as well.

PHB Ethical Beauty Anti-Aging Serum
The PHB Ethical Beauty Anti-Aging Serum has a lovely fragrance, though personally, I did find it a bit on the strong side. You can definitely smell the rose in it, that’s for sure. It has a gel-like consistency and you only need a small amount as it actually goes a very long way.
PHB Products are free from Animal Ingredients, Parabens, SLS, DEA, TEA, PEG, Alcohol (ethanol, ethyl alcohol, alcohol denat.), Phenoxyethanol, Artificial perfumes /fragrance, Petrochemicals, Methylisothiazolinone, Phthalates, Colourants, Silicone, Mineral oils, Formaldehyde and Propylene Glycol. PHB products are Organic, Vegan & Halal. This product is free from Palm oil. The product and its ingredients have not been tested on Animals.
You can keep your skin feeling refreshed with this serum. Secondly, it’s in a handy travel size perfect for taking away on holiday. I can imagine it feeling great after a long day in the sun. It claims to help brighten, firm and even out your skin tone too. I cannot confirm if those claims are true, however, it definitely feels lovely and refreshing on the skin and I know Sea Buckthorn is good for a lot of skin concerns. It absorbs easily into the skin and doesn’t leave any residue or excess of any kind.
You can purchase the full-sized 50 ml version of this at www.phbethicalbeauty.co.uk for Retail at £19.95. The travel size included in the box is Retail £5.95

Lucy Annabella’s ‘Adore’ Organic Treatment Oil with Patchouli & Ylang Ylang
I am a HUGE fan of oils. I use facial oils every night in my skincare routine, so I was thrilled to see a treatment oil included in this month’s box by way of a 15 ml sample of Lucy Annabella’s ‘Adore’ Organic Treatment Oil with Patchouli & Ylang Ylang. I’m not sure if everyone got the same oil in their boxes but mine is perfect for me. It contains 100% Organic ingredients:
- Mandarin Essential Oil
- Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
- Patchouli Essential Oil
- Palmarosa Essential Oil
- Nutmeg Essential Oil
- Soyabean Oil
- Sesame Oil
- Argan Oil
- Avocado Oil
- Apricot Oil
- Rapeseed Oil
- Rosemary Extract
It soaks into the skin and does not leave any oily or greasy residue behind and the smell from the oils is AMAZING! Secondly, it’s also great that you can use this oil on your body, face and also on your hair. I used it as a facial oil at night and as a result, my skin felt fantastic the next morning. It was also nice, to drift off to sleep with the gorgeous scent of the essential oils. As I have mentioned I have very sensitive and dry skin and this did not irritate it at all. So, I was really happy! There are six different oils to choose from on the Lucy Annabella website.
You can purchase your full-sized oil from www.lucyannabella.com Retail £42.00 (125 grams) Sample Size 15 ml Retail £6.00
So, this month we also got a bonus sample of Creme of Nature Argan Oil & Leave-In Conditioner. I’ve not actually tried these yet but like most people, I do know that Argan Oil is very good for the hair, so these samples were a nice added little extra.
My Overall Thoughts
After Little-Known Boxs‘ launch box back in May, I hoped that they would continue the high standard they had set. In short, I believe they did it again with this second box. Manna Kadar Cosmetics is a brand that I was already familiar with. All the other brands and products were new to me and quite honestly, I love them all.
Oxynergy Paris Power Infuse Cushion Foam was the product that really stood out for me though. It really impressed me as I am a sucker for good skincare products. Above all, I just loved everything about it. Therefore, I hope to be able to try more of their range in the future. That isn’t to say that I wasn’t impressed by all the other products because I was and I think they were all great. A big thumbs up for this month’s box from me, for sure!
The total cost of this month’s box was just over £63.00! Pretty amazing, isn’t it!
