What’s in the July 2020 Degusta Box?
As I mentioned earlier the July 2020 Degusta Box had a summer theme and there was a nice selection of food and drink. Anyway, let’s get to it!
Chocolate Brownie flavoured Protein Bar by Premier Protein
Let’s start with this Chocolate Brownie flavoured Protein Bar by Premier Protein. It’s really packed with protein, 20g per bar to be exact. Not only that but it is full of flavour and very chocolatey.
All Natural Milkshake Powder by Nesquik
If you love milkshakes you are going to love this All Natural Milkshake Powder by Nesquik. Why? Because it is made from just 5 ingredients! Also, the packaging is fully recyclable and plastic-free! Plus there are no artificial flavours or sweeteners. My daughter has been loving the milkshakes she’s been making with this.
Golden Creek Maple Syrup
You know I have never ever had maple syrup on pancakes before. Actually, I’ve never had Maple Syrup at all. So, it was great to be able t try one as nice as Golden Creek maple syrup. It also went down really well with the rest of the family. Also, I have to mention the packaging; really love the design of the packaging too.
Lighter Tasting Pilsner* from Pravha
I didn’t get a look in with this Lighter Tasting Pilsner* from Pravha. In fact, there was an argument over who was going to try it – the joy of having 4 men in the house! They did tell me it was really light and full of flavour and they seemed impressed, so I’m taking that as a good thing!
(*Not all subscribers received this product, however, they would have received a replacement.)
Wunda
If any of you are looking for a vegan or dairy-free milk alternative then maybe Wunda could be your answer. You can use it exactly how you would use milk in your day to day life. So you can enjoy your tea, coffee etc using Wunda instead. It is high in protein, low in sugar and fat, and fortified with vitamins A, D, B2 and B12.
NatVia
NatVia is a 100% natural source sweetener and contains zero calories per serving. So, wherever you would use sugar just substitute with NatVia instead.
Mocha Nitro Cold Brew
This Mocha Nitro Cold Brew is made by East London based Minor Figures Coffee. They are the first to market a ready to drink cold brew. I don’t actually drink coffee myself but one of my sons loves cold brew and iced coffees, so he wanted to try this as soon as he spotted it in the July 2020 Degusta Box. So, what did he think of it? He gave it a BIG thumbs up too.
Party Mix Tub from Bebeto
This Party Mix Tub from Bebeto was actually my favourite item in July’s box. I am VERY partial to fizzy gummies and these were so so tasty, tart and just very moreish. Every time someone came into my room, they’d open the tub and sneak a fair few gummies before leaving. Needless to say, they did not last very long and I will definitely be purchasing some more of these as soon as I can. Plus at just £2 a tub, they are very reasonably priced.
Manilife Peanut Butters
Peanut butter is something that I don’t eat myself but pretty much everyone else in the family does. They really enjoy the Deep Roast Crunchy Peanut Butter and the Original Roast Crunchy Peanut Butter from ManiLife.
Popped Lotus Seeds from Plant Pops
Now, this is something that I have never come across before, Popped Lotus Seeds from Plant Pops. This makes for a great snack, plus they are Vegan and gluten-free too. They reminded me a bit of popcorn but they definitely have their own unique taste and crunch. They weren’t really for me but that was mostly because I don’t like Peanut Butter.
Skinny Sauces from The Skinny Food Co
I think these Skinny Sauces from The Skinny Food Co are a great idea. It’s always good to have healthier alternatives.
My Overall Thoughts on the July 2020 Degusta Box
Whilst I’m not sure if this box is very summery, we really did enjoy the items that we received in it.
My personal stand out item was the Party Mix Tub from Bebeto; I think actually, it’s safe to say that this was also my family’s favourite too. I have already added 2 tubs to my online shop at Morrisons for this week.
