The best part about the beginning of a new month is that it means all the new beauty boxes that will be arriving throughout the next few weeks. I always look forward to receiving my subscription boxes. I’m like a little kid at Christmas waiting excitedly to unwrap everything. The first box my postman has the pleasure of bringing me each month (I’m sure he hates delivering here with all the parcels) is the Look Incredible beauty subscription box.
Look Incredible boxes promise to always contain 5 full-sized products. That’s right! No travel or sample size. Just 5 full-sized products to enjoy. I think that’s pretty fantastic for only £18.99 + delivery. I’ve already seen the likes of Mac, Nars, Smashbox and Bare Minerals in my Look Incredible boxes, to name but a few. So it really is excellent value.
So, let’s get to the good stuff, the stuff you want to know about! Here are the products in this month’s box.
Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminiser
First up we have a Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminiser in the shade ‘Kitten Shimmer’. A gorgeous metallic highlight.
It claims that:
soft focus pigments help diminish skin imperfections and minimise the appearance of fine lines and sun spots.
You can also add this into your face lotion or foundation to help achieve a brighter, more radiant complexion.
It’s very creamy and does blend into the skin really easily. It’s actually my first Stila product too, so I am really looking forward to trying this out. If it diminishes imperfections & fine lines, then I’ll be more than happy!

Velvet 59 Matte to the Max Liquid Lipstick in Pink Cadillac
I have to admit that I have never heard of Velvet 59 but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I really like the packaging on this vegan liquid lipstick and it’s such a pretty pink too.
You’ll also be pleased to know that it is paraben-free, cruelty-free and gluten-free. The colour is really opaque, and it dries to a matte finish very quickly. I tested it on my hand and trying to get it off afterwards required 3 cotton pads with micellar water to remove it. So I imagine it will be long-lasting on the lips.
So, considering I’d never heard of this brand, I have to say I am very impressed by the quality of this matte liquid lipstick and would love to try more from Velvet 59.

Ciaté Very Colourfoil Manicure Set
I really like receiving nail products in my beauty boxes, so I was thrilled to see a Ciaté Manicure Set in this month’s box.
The box contains everything you need to give yourself some very pretty foils over your nails. I think I’d do maybe just one finger on each hand with this, as an accent, rather than all my nails. Well, when I actually have some nails to try it out; mine seem to keep breaking just lately!
I do really love this set though and once my nails are worth painting, I am definitely going to give this a whirl. So I will review it in more detail at a later date.

No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara
No7 is a brand I am very familiar with though I haven’t actually used any of their products for a number of years. I always found their products to be of good quality so it will be interesting to see if this mascara is as good as it claims to be.
The No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara claims to have:
a truly magic wand and unique, conditioning formula. The innovative three-in-one brush gives lashes exceptional definition and volume. The left side of the brush loads lashes for great volume, the right side combs lashes to ensure clump-free, clean definition. The top has been designed to target even hard to reach lashes, giving you three ways to achieve exceptionally defined lashes.
I got this mascara in black so I will certainly try this mascara out and see if it lives up to its claims.

The Body Shop Moroccan Rhassoul Body Clay
The last product this month is a Moroccan Rhassoul Body Clay from The Body Shop. I’ve never used body clay masks before but I love a good clay face mask.
However, I’m a bit hesitant about trying this on my body though, as when I put some on the back of my hand, it did irritate my sensitive skin after I washed it off. It left it quite red and itchy. I do have extremely sensitive skin though, so I can’t say I am surprised. This product also smells quite strong to me; it’s not an unpleasant smell though; like a citrus scent but if you don’t have a nose/stomach for products with strong scents you might want to stay away from this. One of the key ingredients according to The Body Shops website, is Seasame Oil.
It’s a firming clay body mask, enriched with minerals that absorb excess water and oil, thus allowing your skin to tighten and firm. It does have pretty good reviews on its website.
According to The Body Shops website, you use the clay mask as follows:
Spread a thin layer onto tummy, legs and arms using the Spa of the World™ Body Mask Brush. Let the body mask dry and act for 10 mins. Rinse off with firm and circular movements to maximize the firming effects.
Expert tip:” Pre-heat the room to create a special, warm cocoon in which to perform your ritual, as your body temperature tends to drop during the treatment. After you’ve finished, rinse with cold water to make skin feel awakened and firmed.” – Vanda Serrador, Facialist and Body Care Expert for The Body Shop
The Body Shop Moroccan Rhassoul Body Clay – £16.00 full size
Total Value – £76.50
Overall Thoughts
I really like this month’s box and even though I liked Mays, I think this box is considerably better value. Look Incredible has promised to deliver 5 full products, of high-quality and it has, in my opinion, fulfilled that once again. It’s consistently been a very high-quality beauty box.
For a total of £18.99 (plus postage) per month, you get really decent products & brands delivered to your door every month. Best of all for me though, is they are always full size, which makes this box, in my opinion, one of the best subscription beauty boxes out there in the UK at the moment.
How Much Does It Cost?
