The March So Susan Lip Love Bag

The March So Susan Lip Love Bag

The So Susan Lip Love Bag was the first beauty subscription service I ever signed up to, back when it was still based in the UK. They’re now based in the US but still ship here and I was thrilled when they asked if I would be interested in reviewing their March Lip Love Bag.

If you have never heard of So Susan Lip Love, it’s a monthly subscription that costs $20.95 (approx £17.00) plus free worldwide shipping, per month.

All the products are Vegan, Cruelty-Free, Gluten-Free and Paraben-Free.

Each month you receive an Eco Canvas cosmetic bag with a different limited edition design, containing 4 cosmetic items.

March is the ‘I Only Roll With Goddesses‘ bag – encouraging and inspiring us to find our inner Goddess.

The bag designs have changed since I was last a subscriber but the quality is still just as good, in fact, I think they’re actually even better now.

I do really love these more bold, modern prints, though.  The inside of the bag is lined and it definitely doesn’t feel cheap.

The one thing I have always loved about the So Susan Lip Love Bag, is that all the items inside have THE most adorable packaging. I love the fun, bright beautiful design on this lipstick. This is a LipoPout and the colour is Social Butterfly. Don’t you just love how the design matches the shade name? A really beautiful coral shade, which will be perfect for the Spring/Summer months.

The gorgeous packaging on this Trifle Cosmetics Cheek Parfait in Marmalade is too cute. I love the tiny marmalade jars on this – simply adorable! This might look like a bit of a bright, shocking pink but it blends out beautifully to give a really lovely healthy pink blush to your cheeks.

Definitely lots of pink in March’s So Susan Lip Love Bag.  Infused with Sweet Almond Oil, this Liptensity in the shade Curiosity, gives a real pop of glossy, hydrating pigmented colour. It’s pretty long lasting too.

Lastly, but by no means least is this beautiful Skinsider Highlighter Palette. These highlighters will not only make your skin glow but they are also formulated with Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 that helps in reducing skin fatigue and facial lines. You can use these anywhere the light would naturally hit your face ie browbones, cheekbones bridge of nose etc.

Overall Thoughts About The March So Susan Lip Love Bag

I really enjoyed receiving the March Lip Love. It’s been a really long time since I last subscribed and the changes they’ve made to the bags are really nice. Not that I didn’t love the previous bag designs. These new modern designs are much fresher and bolder, though, which I just love.

It’s a little sad that they are no longer UK based, as it means you have to wait a little longer to receive it. However, my Lip Love arrived safe and undamaged after it’s journey. Everything was extremely well packaged too.

  • Fab! I love Sosusan cosmetics, great quality. Will remember for the future but sadly can’t afford, even though I love this bag?

    • Yeah, It was one of the first beauty subscriptions that I ever signed up to. The cosmetics you get are a really lovely quality. I only stopped having it because I became more interested in skincare and wanted to try other subscriptions. So I was really thrilled & grateful when they asked if I would be interested in receiving their bag to review. 🙂 Oh, I know, if only money were no object! 🙁
