Watches are something I’m quite picky about. Design wise, I don’t really like anything too fancy and they also must be analogue too. I really favour minimalist designs, so the Nordgreen Native Scandinavian Silver Unisex Analogue watch ticked all the boxes for me. This sort of design is one that I also knew my son would like too.

I decided to go with the 40mm watch face as I preferred the larger face. It’s really such a beautiful watch though. Very stylish and I would say quite timeless due to its minimalist design. Another thing I love is that due to the design it truly does make it a very unisex watch. Looking equally as lovely on a woman as it does on a man. It comes beautifully packaged, so I think it would also make a perfect gift to give. Father’s Day is in June, which really is not that far away, especially with how quick the weeks seem to be going – or maybe that’s just me?
The strap is quite generous in size and the watch sits very comfortably once on the wrist. Originally I was going to keep the watch for myself, In the end, though, I actually decided to let my son have it. He had commented how much he liked it when it arrived and I knew he’d be really happy if I gave it to him. Of course, I had to threaten him so he didn’t wear it for work, you know, as we mothers do! Despite the fact, he is 22yrs old this December it doesn’t stop me telling him!
A statement piece like a watch can say quite a lot about the sort of person you are. The same way clothes and jewellery can too. This watch, at least to me, says you’re straight forward, you don’t like fuss or mess. What you see is what you get. This is definitely true of my son.
