Posting a Papergang review two months in a row, who am I? New Year and new goals to post more regularly. I actually really liked the bold colours used in the Papergang January 2023 box. It’s fresh and bright – unlike the weather!
First, A little About Papergang
Papergang is curated by the wonderfully creative people at OHH DEER and each month they provide a box full of papery and stationery goodness by extremely talented illustrators. The boxes can include greetings cards, notebooks, desk accessories and art prints. So, What’s in the Papergang January 2023 Box?
January’s Papergang box is ‘Sans Titre‘ which translates as ‘untitled’ and contains 5 items. It’s full of lovely bright, bold colours and graphics and I am totally here for it!
This month’s box was designed by Otto Iram who is a self-taught visual artist who is based in Toulouse, France. The box really captures his art style; I’m a big fan of the bold colours and shapes. If you want to read more about Otto then check out his interview with Ohh Deer/Papergang.
Inside The Sans Titre
Daily Planner
First up is this A6 Daily Planner. It is only intended to last for 3 months though which is a little disappointing, at least to me. It’s still a gorgeous planner though regardless of how long it is meant to last.
A5 Print
This is a limited edition and signed print and would definitely brighten up any wall, or desk. It’s printed on 270gsm paper too, so the paper is of lovely quality.
3 Bulldog Clips
These kinds of clips are always handy to have. Made of aluminium and in bold primary colours of red, yellow and blue.
Soft Touch Ballpoint Pen & Sticky Notes
I really love the soft touch ballpoint pen, the ink is black and it writes so smoothly. It’s really nice to grip too.
Sticky Notes
Sticky Notes are always useful especially for me and my Fibro and Menopause fog. If I don’t write things down then I forget entirely. There are 60 sheets of these sticky notes.
My Thoughts on the Papergang January 2023
I was delighted with the January box. I think Otto Iram did a really good job designing this box. Hard to pick a favourite item as they are all really nice. Though I think the pen maybe just has it as it writes lovely and smoothly and it’s a dream to write with.
