It’s been a hot minute since I shared a Papergang box with you but here I am, finally. Now, anyone that knows me, knows that I am obsessed with stationery and have been since I was a little girl. My love of stationery is equal to or possibly even more than my love of skincare or makeup! So that’s saying something. Anyway, let’s take a look at the Papergang December 2022 box together!
First, A little About Papergang
Papergang is curated by the wonderfully creative people at OHH DEER and each month they provide a box full of papery and stationery goodness by extremely talented illustrators. The boxes can include greetings cards, notebooks, desk accessories and art prints. Also, the items you receive in your Papergang box will be exclusive for a time before they are available to buy in the OHH DEER shop.
So, What’s in the Papergang December 2022 Box?
December’s Papergang box is ‘The Menagerie‘ and I have to be honest and say I was just a little bit disappointed with the theme. Not that the theme and contents were bad, it’s just that I expected a Christmas or at least wintery-themed box.
This month’s box was designed by Jamie Mitchell who is the founder and director of Papergang. His love of animals and the fun of imagining the personalities they might have was his inspiration for December’s box. As he put it, ‘animals wearing stuff’.
Inside The Menagerie
Dateless Calendar
So, after my initial, ‘oh, it’s not Christmassy, sad face’ I quickly noticed the dateless calendar. Now I love when diaries, planners and calendars etc are dateless because you can start using them at any time of the year. Each month also has a cute animal depicted in some kind of clothing.
A5 Sticker Set
Then, to go with the dateless calendar we have this A5 sticker set. There are lots of stickers to make planning much easier. Plus, it really helps to stay organised too. I like to think I am organised but 99% of the time I am not. Hopefully, these and the calendar will help me stay more organised in 2023.
Greeting Cards with a debossed finish
We then have these 2 adorable Panda and Seal greeting cards which have this lovely debossed finish to them. They are also blank inside so can be used for any occasion. One of the things I love about Papergang is the quality of the cards they put in their boxes.
Mechanical Pencil
This mechanical pencil is made from a wheat straw barrel. I really like the light grey mottled design it has. I find mechanical pencils so useful and I love not having to sharpen them too.
My Thoughts on the Papergang December 2022
Despite no Christmas theme, the December box is really great. The dateless calendar and stickers will be incredibly useful for the New Year. All the items are of high quality, as I said earlier, one of the reasons I love Papergang so much is the quality of all their products.
Plus, all the paper and cardboard in this box are sustainably sourced and widely recycled.
