Twenty days till Christmas Day and I still feel like I have loads do to. In reality, I don’t think there’s actually THAT much left for me to sort out. It’s just that Christmas seems to have crept up on me all of a sudden. I usually have lists galore by now and so far I’ve made none except for presents and Christmas Eve box lists. There are only a couple of things to get off those lists. Anyway, less of my semi-panic because today I have for you the penultimate box of the year, the Degusta Box for November 2022.
What is Degusta Box All About?
So, if you are new here and have never heard of Degusta Box UK I’ll quickly explain what it is and how it works.
Degusta Box UK is a monthly subscription box that contains between 10-15 items each month, most of which are new to the market. The products are chosen and put together by a team of specialists who look for foods that are versatile, innovative, and delicious. You can read some of my reviews for previous boxes here. It costs £12.99 per month. You can also find a discount at the end of the post. So, that means you’ll pay just £7.99 for your first box!
Degusta Box for November 2022 Theme & Contents
The Degusta Box for November didn’t have any specific theme but it did contain 13 items. So let’s dive straight into it, shall we?
What’s In The Box? Sweet Treats
Bett’r Peanut Nut Butter Cups (rrp £2.99)
These nut butter cups are vegan and they are also gluten-free. Plus according to one of my sons, they taste amazing!
The Jelly Bean Factory 36 mix pouch 113g (rrp £1.50)
You can’t go wrong with jelly beans from The Jelly Bean Factory. They’re my favourite jelly bean brand by far!
Halo’s Chocolate and Orange Flavoured Mini Donut (£1.50 )
These were so yummy and I loved the orange flavour. On opening the bag the scent of oranges floated out so you cannot help but dive into them. Gorgeous moist and light mini donuts, coated in chocolate and decorated with gold and bronze sugar sprinkles. Perfection!
What’s In The Box? Savoury
Pot Noodle Fusions (rrp £1.39)
The November box contained 1 of 3 flavours of Pot Noodle Fusions. I got the Chilli Chicken flavour in my box. We love these in our house, so of course, there were arguments over who got to have this one. Tasty and full of flavour.
Nando’s Flavour Shaker (rrp £2.00)
You would have received one of three flavour shakers in your Degusta Box for November 2022. I got the medium one and the other two were Lemon & Herb, and Garlic & Herb. We tried this on some chicken stir fry and it really added a nice flavour to it.
What’s in the Box? Sauces
Heinz Made for Veggies (£2.50)
We’ve not actually tried this yet as we don’t eat lots of vegetables but I’m sure if you love your veggies this would really add another dimension to them.
Filippo Berio Tomato & Ricotta Pesto / Truffle Pesto (£2.75 / £4.99)
Your November box would have contained one of two flavours. I received the Truffle Pesto. This really adds something extra special to pasta. Having never tried anything like this before I was really impressed.
What’s In The Box? Drinks
Double Dutch Drinks Double Lemon (£1.20)
This is really lovely with vodka. It’s also really refreshing on its own too. Low in calories and sugar, Double Dutch mixers are made with all-natural ingredients and no artificial sweeteners too.
Heineken Silver (£1.00 per can / £6.00 multipack)
I was really looking forward to trying this as I often find lager too bitter. I was not disappointed, it really is less bitter which made it all the more refreshing to drink. It’s made with natural ingredients and 4% abv. You would have received 2 of these in your box.
Green Sour Cherry, Orangeade (£0.99)
Both of these flavours were in the November box. These drinks are really lovely as they have a more natural taste. It’s nice to drink something that doesn’t taste very artificial.
Tea Rex (£3.85)
I’ve not tried this myself but Andy tried it and he really liked it. He said that he was surprised by how much flavour it had. They’re made of fresh fruits, roots and leaves. Not only that but the tubes they come in are 100% recyclable as they are made of sugar cane, not fossil fuels; so sustainable.
My Overall Thoughts On The Degusta Box for November 2022
There was a real mixed bag of items in the Degusta Box for November 2022. Loved discovering the Green soft drinks and the Double Dutch Mixer too. Oh and the Halo’s Chocolate and Orange flavoured mini Donuts were delicious too!
If I had to pick a favourite item out of the November Degusta Box then it would definitely be The Jelly Bean Factory jelly beans.
Loads of fab flavours and they’re as tasty are they are colourful!
