Something a little bit different for you today and that is NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare for Men. A range of products that are natural, nutrient-rich formulations and are especially great for dry, sensitive skin.
Now I could have tested these products myself but rather than me doing that, I had my partner test them instead. After all, he is a man – not that I couldn’t have used these products.
About NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare
The founder of NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare, Susan Keating, had dry, sensitive skin and that is why she decided to pursue the exploration into the characteristics of seaweed from a scientific perspective.
When I think of seaweed, I do wonder how it stays so lush & healthy when it’s battered by the harsh, salty ocean all of its life. So, I can completely understand someone wanting to explore seaweed and trying to discover how it stays elastic and hydrated. To eventually capture those qualities in skincare so that we can benefit from it.

NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare is powered by biotechnology at our University-based laboratory where a unique process is used to extract Essential Marine Fatty Acids (lipids) and other bio-active compounds from organic Atlantic seaweed. Our bio-active ingredients, known for anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative efficacy, are extracted separately and recombined into a range of natural, nutrient-rich formulations that deliver notable results for dry, sensitive skin.

Beautiful Packaging
Although it doesn’t make any difference as to how well a product works, beautiful packaging is always welcomed. The NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare products came in a really lovely package, which was a big plus.
The packaging felt and looked very natural and suited the products really well. I also really loved the design on the product boxes themselves too. The seaweed illustration was really nice and I liked that they used both black and white boxes.

I was actually only expecting two products, the face wash and the moisturiser but as you can see from the photos, I actually received 4 items from the range.

- Renew Face Scrub – 100ml
- Hydrate Moisturiser – 50ml
- Invigorate Hair & Body Wash – 200ml
The products were all good sizes too, so there was plenty of it to use whilst reviewing it.
Energise face Wash
First up let’s have a chat about the Energise Face Wash. You can find the ingredients below:
Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Ascophyllum Nodosum Extract, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides Citrate, Tocopherol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Chloride, Citrus Grandis (Grape Fruit) Peel Oil, Citric Acid, Limonene.
A natural product. Free from paragons, mineral oils, petrolatums, PEGs, PPGs, MEA, DEA, TEA, phthalate, silicones and SLES/SLS.
The face wash itself has a light, fresh scent to it and doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight after use. There’s no residue of any kind left behind after washing your face with this. Skin is left feeling soft and hydrated. With continued use, my partners’ skin began to look brighter, more even-toned and he had no more red blotchy patches previously caused by dry, sensitive skin.
Renew Face Scrub
Then next up we have the Renew Face Scrub. Which contains the following ingredients:

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Ascophyllum Nodosum Powder, Maris Sal, Sucrose Laurate, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sucrose Stearate, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Sucrose Palmitate.
A natural product. Free from parabens, mineral oils, petrolatums, PEGs, PPGs, MEA, DEA, TEA, phthalate, silicones and SLES/SLS.
Face scrubs should never feel harsh on your skin. This one definitely does not feel in the slightest bit harsh or abrasive. It has protein-rich seaweed particles which are suspended in a natural cleansing gel. Within that are antioxidants and marine minerals. As the seaweed particles are a natural by-product of NEUÚs seaweed oil extraction process it is a fully biodegradable way of exfoliating the skin effectively, sustainably and safely!
My partner really loved this face scrub and said it is the best one he has used to date. It was really gentle on his skin, yet still exfoliated really well. He used this twice a week, as it’s recommended to use it 2-3 times per week. Again, it didn’t leave his skin feeling tight or blotchy due to how gentle it was. Anything that leaves your face feeling tight or squeaky clean is overdrying and you should not use it.
Invigorate Hair & Body Wash
The Hair & Body Wash also proved very popular with my partner. These are the ingredients that it contains:

A natural product. Free from parabens, mineral oils, petrolatums, PEGs, PPGs, MEA, DEA, TEA, phthalate, silicones and SLES/SLS.
Containing marine and botanical ingredients, this hair & body wash blends the NEUÚ “proprietary seaweed oil extract with orange peel oil, a natural antiseptic and cleansing agent packed with stimulating vitamin C to keep hair and body refreshed and hydrated.”
This has a really lovely scent and lathers very nicely. My partner is pretty fussy about body wash and shampoo as he often has reactions to them. He found this product worked well and it didn’t irritate his skin or scalp at all. Afterwards, your skin is left with a very pleasant, light fresh scent too.
Hydrate Moisturiser
Last and by no means least, is the Hydrate Moisturiser. The ingredients for this product are as follows:

Aqua, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Seed Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ascophyllum Nodosum Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide.
A natural product. Free from parabens, mineral oils, petrolatums, PEGs, PPGs, MEA, DEA, TEA, phthalate, silicones and SLES/SLS.
When you have dry and sensitive skin finding the right moisturiser is especially important. This hydrating moisturiser by NEUÚ is just fabulous for dry skin. The blend of Essential Marine Fatty Acids is specially formulated to repair dry and damaged skin, restore elasticity and prevent premature ageing. It also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients too.
Both my partner and I tried this moisturiser; though I only used it once just to see what it was like. It has such a lovely texture and it really absorbs into the skin quite easily. Even though it may feel quite lightweight, it really does moisturise and hydrate the skin. It’s not at all greasy or heavy like some creams for dry skin can be. Plus, there is certainly no residue after applying it either.
You just get really smooth, soft, fully hydrated skin. I was going to say this was another firm favourite of my partners BUT to be honest, he really loved them all. He was doubly happy he got something that he could try – he’s a little envious of all the skincare I get to try, so he really was thrilled to be able to test these products out for me.
Overall Thoughts on NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare for Men
This was such a lovely range to try out and although it is NEUÚ Seaweed Skincare for Men all four of these products could also be used by women with equally great results.
They work exceptionally well on dry and sensitive skin but I have no doubt that they would be good for other skin types too, especially the Renew Face Scrub because no one wants a harsh or abrasive scrub on their face!
I tried to get my partner to pick a favourite out of these 4 but he kept changing his mind, suffice to say it was really hard for him to choose just one as he loved them all.
