Newly launched last month, the January Natural Beauty Box is filled with natural, organic and cruelty free beauty products. It’s really great to see so many subscription boxes launching lately and by the looks of their first box, this promises to be another wonderful beauty subscription.
It comes beautifully packaged and contains 6 items in the January Natural Beauty Box. All of them are natural, organic and of course, cruelty free too. I love the pretty green tissue paper and the natural box that it comes in, plus the use of natural packaging squiggles too. All tied together with a yellow ribbon. It just gives me vibes of fresh green foliage and pretty yellow flowers. The general theme for January is ‘Rise and Shine‘. The box contains products to get you set up for the day ahead!
So, onto the actual products that came in the box.
Evolve African Orange Aromatic Wash – I love Evolve products and have quite a few of them, so I was really excited to see not one, but two of their products featured in the January Natural Beauty Box! This hand and body wash smells so good. Citrus notes, vanilla notes and just a really gorgeous scent to it. It contains Blood Orange, Cedarwood and Black Pepper Essential Oils.
Evolve Fresh Face Facial Wash – This facial wash contains Papaya and Goji Berry. The Papaya works as a natural exfoliant, using natural sugars to wash away dead skin cells. The good old Goji Berry is one of the worlds most powerful anti-ageing natural Super Foods. It has anti-oxidant properties along with moisturising, soothing and detoxifying properties. I didn’t try this myself because my skin is dry and sensitive and this is suited to normal – oily skin, as along with cleansing and moisturising, it also helps to rebalance the skin too.
Terre Verdi FranChouliPom Facial Serum – Now this oil is definitely right up my street as it’s for dry/mature skins. It has organic argan & pomegranate oils, plus frankincense & patchouli. So you get oils providing vitamins & antioxidants, plus oils to combat signs of stress & ageing. It’s really lovely on the skin, doesn’t leave any greasy residue behind either. It smells quite uplifting too. A really lovely facial serum.
Crafting with Beth The Naked Soap ‘Aloe Vera Avocado Soap’ – This gorgeous soap is made uncoloured, unscented, and additive free, hence the name ‘The Naked Soap’. It’s still packed full of nourishing oils and butters though. The soap was saponified with certified organic ingredients, palm free, paraben free, SLS free.
Green Fibres Organic Cotton Double Sided Muslin Cloth – This lovely cloth has two different textured sides to perform two jobs. Exfoliate dead skin gently with the Muslin side. For sensitive areas use the softer side. Perfect for cleansing all skin types.
Earth Conscious Natural Deodorant – This is actually the third Earth Conscious Natural Deodorant I’ve gotten and I’m very happy with that as these natural deodorants are really great. I now have Citrus, Lavender and Spice scents. I think the Citrus scent is my favourite. These deodorants are aluminium, paraben and carcinogens free. They are very unisex and they allow your skin to breathe and perspire naturally. So, they won’t block your sweat glands; allowing toxins to leave your body naturally. As they contain anti-bacterial properties they will make sure you smell great all day long.
Overall Thoughts About The January Natural Beauty Box
I think the Natural Beauty Box has launched their first box with a really lovely selection of natural, organic and cruelty free products. I love that they also included a really practical cleansing cloth from Green Fibres. It was also really nice to discover 3 new brands that I had never heard of too.
If future boxes are as good as the January Natural Beauty Box, then this promises to be a really fabulous natural beauty subscription and definitely one to watch out for.
The Natural Beauty Box costs £24.95 a month and includes free delivery too.
For every box that is sold, Emma will also be donating 50p to a different charity every month. The charities will be selected from children’s, animals or environmental charities.
