I recently was lucky enough to take part in Style Korean’s Try Me Review Me with COSRX. The products I received were from the COSRX Hydrium Line. I do want to be completely transparent with you guys. I didn’t have the chance to test these products for the amount of time I usually would. I’ve actually had a little over 2 weeks to use them.
COSRX is a firm favourite Korean brand for myself and a lot of other people. I’ve used a lot of their products over the last few years. Plus, their products have been amazing for my teenage daughter’s acne-prone skin.

COSRX Hydrium Line – Moisturising
When applying to take part in this review there were 2 choices available of the COSRX Hydrium Line. Soothing and Moisturising. I opted for the moisturising products as my skin is normal/dry the majority of the time. I received 4 products and a sheet mask. There were also 2 samples of soothing products.
Key Ingredient – B5
“B5 which is known as panthenol is the key ingredient of Hydrium line.
B5 has moisturizing, regenerating, and anti-inflammatory effects
and is safe to use on all skin type.”
So, without further ado let me tell you about the products I have been trying.
COSRX Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cleanser
First up is the COSRX Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Mositurizing Cleanser. I like to make sure that any cleanser I use doesn’t strip my face of natural oils and leave it dry and tight.
Rich and creamy, it lathers up like softly scented fluffy clouds. It really does have the most gorgeous subtle scent to it. I love how creamy it feels on my face. Afterwards, my skin feels really clean. Yet it is still super soft and hydrated. No sign of tightness or dryness in sight. This cleanser is such a joy to use! If you like foaming cleanser you’ll love this one!
COSRX Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Water Wave Sheet Mask
The COSRX Triple Hyaluronic Water Wave Sheet Mask is eco-friendly and biodegradable. So it should make you feel that bit less guilty about sheet masking. The mask itself is really drenched in not one but three different types of Hyaluronic Acid. There’s enough of the essence left in the packet to apply and then pat into your neck and décolletage too.
Like most sheet masks you apply it, wait 15-20 minutes, then remove. For love nor money DO NOT WASH OFF the remaining essence on your face. I have seen so many people that wash their face after taking a sheet mask off. That totally defeats the purpose of using one in the first place. Just don’t! Gently pat the remaining essence into your face.
The sheet mask was easy to apply and a good fit. It adhered to my skin really well with no slippage. There was plenty of the essence left as the mask was really dripping with it. So, used the remainder in the packet and applied to my neck and décolletage.
After 20 minutes the mask was still pretty wet but I removed it anyway. Not only was the mask cooling and soothing when applied, but it also left my skin really hydrated. I also noticed that some of the redness on the drier areas of my skin had dissipated considerably.
COSRX Hydrium Watery Toner
I’m a big fan of toners and I’ve really enjoyed using this COSRX Hydrium Watery Toner. I like to apply my toner by using my hands and then gently patting it into the skin. I often use the seven skin method with toners if my skin is drier than usual.
Whilst using this toner I did feel like my skin stayed hydrated longer than it usually would. It doesn’t have any scent that I noticed either.
The COSRX Hydrium Watery Toner contains:
- D-panthenol (Vitamin B5) – hydrate, moisturise, recover
- Hyaluronic Acid – locks in moisture and helps to plump skin
- Allantoin – calms, soothes
You can also use this COSRX Hydrium Watery Toner as a mist, soak some cotton pads and use it as a toner mask. Or you can even mix it with water at an 8:2 ratio and use at last step of cleansing and don’t dry your face. Just pat it gently for it to be absorbed.
COSRX Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisture Ampoule
The COSRX Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisture Ampoule is a viscous moisturising ampoule that provides really deep hydration. If you have dry or dehydrated skin I think you will love this product.
I’d say it has a fairly high viscosity and no scent, not one that I can discern at least. The ampoule absorbs easily into the skin leaving no residue of any kind behind.
The COSRX Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisture Ampoule contains:
- D-panthenol (Vitamin B5) – hydrate, moisturise, recover
- Hyaluronic Acid – locks in moisture & helps to plump skin
You just need 2-3 drops of this ampoule. Spread it evenly, gently massaging into the skin.
COSRX Hydrium Moisture Power Enriched Cream
The COSRX Hydrium Moisture Power Enriched Cream packs a real punch of hydration into the skin. Needless to say that I’ve absolutely LOVED using this cream. It is just so hydrating yet it’s still very light and definitely not greasy at all. I can honestly say the first time I used it I was quite shocked just how hydrated my skin felt afterwards. There’s no tacky sticky or greasy feeling left on the skin after application. Just plump, soft hydrated skin.
The COSRX Hydrium Moisture Enriched Power Cream contains:
- D-panthenol (Vitamin B5) – hydrate, moisturise, recover
- Propolis – helps your skin maintain an adequate level of oil & moisture balance
- Ceramide – protects and strengthens the skin’s barrier
You can actually combine this with any of the COSRX Hydrium Ampoules to make your own moisturiser. It might even become a Holy Grail for you!
Have you tried any COSRX Hydrium Line Products Before?
If you’ve never tried any COSRX products before then I highly recommend this Hydrium Line for dry skin. You can purchase these products as well as other COSRX products on the StyleKorean website.
