It’s absolutely mad that next weekend is Easter, I hadn’t bought a single Easter Egg, until yesterday. It’s a good job I realised and managed to grab a couple with this week’s shopping. Mind you my kids are all grown but I do have a couple of grandchildren to buy for. Anyway, enough talk of Easter! It’s Spring, the weather can’t make its mind up and today I have the Degusta Box for March 2022 to share with you.
What is Degusta Box All About?
If you are new here and have never heard of Degusta Box UK I’ll quickly explain what it is and how it works.
Degusta Box UK is a monthly subscription box that contains between 10-15 items each month, most of which are new to the market. The products are chosen and put together by a team of specialists who look for foods that are versatile, innovative, and delicious. You can read some of my reviews for previous boxes here. It costs £12.99 per month. You can also find a discount at the end of the post. So, that means you’ll pay just £7.99 for your first box!
Degusta Box For March 2022 Theme & Contents
It’s only natural that the box for March has a ‘Hello Spring’ theme, given it’s officially Spring now. So, without further ado, let me show you exactly what was in this box!
What’s In The Box?: Sweet Treats
Aero® Milk Chocolate Melts (rrp £1.59) – You would have received 1 of 2 items in your box, either these Aero® Milk Chocolate Melts or the Aero® Caramel Chocolate Melts. Have to say, these were absolutely lovely. They really do just melt on your tongue and you can feel all the little bubbles as they do so. Plus, they taste heavenly; so smooth and creamy. I will definitely be buying these again as I much prefer them to the other Aero® chocolate bars and pouches that you can get.
Nature Valley Full Mix Cranberry (rrp £1.00) – I like this kind if they haven’t got things like sunflower and pumpkin seeds in them. Sadly this had both plus peanut butter and peanuts, and I don’t like those either. One of my sons really enjoyed it though. He said it was really full of flavour.
Product of the Month exante Snack Bites (£1.49 ) – You would have received either this flavour or Carrot Cake in your box. They went down a storm and I was a little jealous that I don’t like coconut! I would have loved to try the Carrot Cake ones as I usually love Carrot Cake.
Use Code DEGUSTA to get 35% off almost everything at exantediet.com! Expires 21.12.22 exclusions/T&C’s apply.
Nutriburst Vitamins (rrp £1.00 for both sachets) I have tried so many gummy vitamins and supplements in the past year or two. We received both sachets in the March Degusta Box. A full bottle of the Hair, Skin & Nails gummies costs £22.99 and the Health Vitamins cost £19.99. Both tasted nice and it’s definitely a lot more pleasant taking a gummy than a hard tablet.
What’s In The Box?: Savoury
Knorr® Zero Salt Beef Cubes (rrp £1.50) – If you’re looking to cut down on your salt intake then these will make a great addition to your food cupboard as they are zero salts in them. They are actually the first in the market for Zero Salt Stock cubes too.
Hellman’s Caesar Salad Dressing 210ml / Fat-Free Vinaigrette 210ml (rrp £1.25) – These two dressings are sure to add some flavour to your salad and give them a whole new taste to excite your taste buds.
PizzaExpress Sweet & Smoky BBQ Pizza Dipping Sauce (rrp £2.00) – If you like to dip your pizza, then you might just love this Sweet & Smoky BBQ Pizza Dipping Sauce from PizzaExpress. It’s inspired by the popular Barbacoa pizza on its menu.
KETTLE® Chips Sea Salte & Crushed Black Peppercorns (£2.09) – Andy grabbed these when he saw them in the box, which was all good with me as I don’t like pepper. He said they were crunchy and the flavour was really nice.
What’s In The Box?: Drinks
Aqua Libra Infused Sparkling Water (£1.00) – You should have received both of these flavours in your Degusta Box for March 2022. I happen to enjoy sparkling water and liked both of these flavours but the Rasberry & Blackcurrant was by far my favourite out of the two.
Borna Lightly Sweetened Pistachio Drink 500ml (£1.99) – I love pistachios, it’s one of the only nuts that I actually like. So I thought that I might like this…I didn’t. I mean, it was okay but I wouldn’t choose to drink it again. It just felt really strange flavour-wise to me. The texture was very creamy though and it was sweet.
Yogi Tea® (£2.59) – You would have received one of 3 flavours in your box. I got the ‘For the Senses Natural Energy‘ tea. You could also have received, Fresh Inspiration or Happiness. If you like tea, then you can really go wrong with any teas from Yogi Tea®.
My Overall Thoughts On The Degusta Box For March 2022
I think this was a pretty good box for Spring. Although, I only really liked a couple of the items this time. As I say most months though, I am a picky eater. Some of it is because I’m just picky but also a big part is down to food intolerances as well.
My favourite items from the February Degusta Box were definitely the Aqua Libra Sparkling Waters and the Aero® Milk Chocolate Melts. The melts were just so yummy. They have a totally different taste experience to their regular Aero®.
The sparkling waters were really refreshing straight out of the fridge. Whilst the blood orange and mango one was nice, I really did prefer the raspberry and blackcurrant flavour. I am more of a ‘berry’ than a citrus person though.
