So I used to subscribe to LoveLula a while back but after a few boxes, I cancelled so I could try a different subscription. Well, I decided to give it another go and the LoveLula April box is my second box this year.
Aprils box contains 4 full-sized products and 2 samples and the value of the box is £63.00. You can also get 25% off any of the brands in the box too if you wish to purchase more products from any of them.
First up we have Chamomile Water by Alteya. This is a new brand to me -at least I don’t recall ever coming across it before. I love mists, especially when the weather is hot as I find them a great way to stay cool and keep my skin hydrated in the process. This one is ideal for me as it’s very gentle and perfect for my normal/dry skin.
This Body Milk from Gallinée is perfect for soothing and repairing dry skin but is suitable for any skin type. It should also be good for skin that is hypersensitive; such as dermatitis/eczema.
Isn’t this just a perfect nail colour for Spring & Summer? I love vibrant pink shades like this new Spring shade Raspberry Parade by Glossworks. I can’t say how it wears but it is supposed to be gel-like, with a high gloss finish.
I have a few products from Dr Botanicals that I have received in other beauty boxes and the like. However, I have never had this Lemon Rescue Butter before. I have tried this, albeit very quickly on the back of my hand but the scent is just so deliciously citrus; I love it! It also made the back of my hand so so soft. It’s a multipurpose moisturising balm, so can be used wherever your skin needs it.
Lastly, there were also two samples from Kimberly Sayer, whose products are one of Lovelula’s top-selling brands.
My Overall thoughts on the April lovelula box
First off, I am really glad I have resubscribed as I had forgotten how good the LoveLula boxes are! Out of the April box, everything was new to me, either as a brand or a product. That’s one of the main reasons that I enjoy subscription boxes so much. I really liked all the products too but I think my favourite was the Lemon Rescue Butter by Dr Botanicals – it just feels so nice on the skin & smells so fresh & citrusy!
This month’s box value was £63.00, which I think is damn good value for its £14.95 price point. I also like that should you want to buy more products from the brands included in the box, they give you a 25% off code to use.
