The box is letterbox size, which is fantastic as it will fit through most letterboxes and means no worrying in case you miss the postie.
The September 2016 Treatbox is all about relaxing and taking some time to ourselves. That actually seems quite popular this month where my subscriptions boxes are concerned. Must be the shift into Autumn.
As you can see, this month’s box was really full but then that is something I have noticed with Treatbox; their boxes are crammed with so many things I’m sometimes left scratching my head as to how everything fitted in the box. This month was no exception.
Adult Colour Therapy Colouring Book & Hue Watercolour Pencils
First up we have this adult Colour Therapy colouring book and Hue watercolour pencils. A perfect way to de-stress, these kinds of adult colouring books are very popular. We all remember how we used to sit and colour as a kid, I certainly do. I spent many a happy hour, sat in my bedroom with felt tips and colouring books. It’s such a great way to unwind and relax and forget all the daily stresses. I think this design is just one of a few you might have received.
Teapigs Peppermint Tea
What better than a nice relaxing, soothing Peppermint tea to sip on whilst you sit and colour. You can do just that with this Teapigs Peppermint Tea. I’ve always wanted to try one of Teapigs peppermint teas because I’ve heard such good things about them, so I can’t wait to try this.
Our Beliefs
we believe in something pure and simple…
no airs. no graces. just fine tea.Our peppermint tea is fresher and finer than any teabag mint you have tasted before because, as with our regular teas, we insist on whole leaves. Because we use whole peppermint leaves, you’ll find the flavour of this blend much stronger and fresher than regular dusty paper teabags. Sip this when your stomach is grumbling. It’s great after a heavy night out down the Red Lion.
There is also a code for £15 off your first order when you spend over £25; pretty fab offer really.
September Calendar
There is this handy and beautifully illustrated month calendar for September, with space enough to add any notes at the bottom. This is an added extra too!
Bookmark
A handy bookmark that matches the design of the month calendar. I love this design actually, the colours they’ve used are very calming, and the print reminds me of water, coloured with a bath bomb or something. Very relaxing.
Tealights
These tealights are perfect to place around the bath to create a really calming and relaxing ambience whilst you sink into a hot bubble bath. Or place them in your bedroom, whilst you drink your peppermint tea, and colour in your colouring book.
Manicure Kit
This little manicure kit has everything you could need to tend to your manicures & pedicures. Also, a perfect size to pop into a drawer at work, take on travels or slip into a handbag. I love the pretty white and gold polka dot design too.
7th Heaven Charcoal Masque
I’ve used 7th Heaven masks before and they are really lovely. I’ve not tried this one though and I doubt I will make use of it myself as I have dry and sensitive skin but I am sure my teenage daughter will love this one and it should do her skin the world of good.
Quote Print
‘Almost everything will work again if you just unplug it for a few minutes…including you.’ I love this and it’s so true, we all need to take time out and recharge our batteries. Sometimes life can get overwhelming and we should make sure to unplug from the world and make time for ourselves. This print is a real reminder to do just that.
Sass & Belle Bee Necklace
This pretty necklace from Sass & Belle was an extra gift I got – as you can see from Zoe’s note on the bag it came in. So lovely of her – thank you very much, Zoe, it’s lovely and I really appreciate it!
My Overall Thoughts on the September 2016 Treatbox
I really love all the items in the September 2016 Treatbox. Month after month this box brings me items that range from whimsical to beautiful and there has not been one single thing that I have not liked. It’s a lovely breath of fresh air and you can tell there is a lot of thought gone into the contents of each box. I genuinely love getting my box each month and always get so impatient and excited to see what’s in it.
I really recommend this beautiful box if you want a box of lovely treats for yourself each month…or for someone else for that matter. These boxes also make the most delightful gifts too. I’d certainly be grinning from ear to ear if I received a Treatbox from someone. So make your day, or someone else’s, give them a smile in a box and sign up! 😉
