A couple of weeks ago I did a mini Korean beauty haul and ordered some Korean skincare products for my dry skin from RoseRoseShop and the eBay store F2plus1. The first products from F2plus1 arrived 10 days after ordering and the remaining items I ordered off RoseRoseshop arrived today. The date I ordered them was the 27th of June, so I am pretty impressed with just how fast they arrived especially considering the postage for both orders was completely free and they had to come from Korea.
Both parcels were extremely well packaged with lots of bubble wrap and none of the items was damaged in transit. I will definitely be ordering from both stores again in the near future.
So let’s get into what I actually got!
- Secret Key 24K Gold Premium First Essence, Serum & Cream
- 3w Clinic Aqua Glow Mist – 150ml – £6.07
- Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Mist – 60ml – £5.52
- Holika Holika Smoothie Peeling Jam – 75ml (Grape Expectation) – £5.91
- Etude House Play Therapy Pink Firming UP! Sleeping Pack – 150ml – £5.86
- Skin Food Honey Pot Lip Balm – 6.5g – £3.99
Secret Key 24K Gold Premium First Essence, Serum & Cream
These first 3 products are by Secret Key and these were the items I ordered from F2plus1. They were also kind enough to throw a few samples in too.
These products are supposed to help revitalise skin, nourish and improve elasticity whilst helping against wrinkles too. They contain tiny particles of 24K Gold which smooths rough skin and improves its elasticity of it. Lonicera flower (honeysuckle) provides moisture to the skin and helps to purify it too.
You can see the tiny particles of gold in them. When you apply it to your skin, it just gets absorbed as you rub it in. My skin felt really nice after using them and they have a really lovely fragrance which is very subtle. I had no redness or irritation from using them either. I will come back at a later date to give my views after I have been using them for a few months but so far, I am impressed with the results I have seen so far and really like them.
Ingredients:
- 24K Gold
- Lonicera (Honeysuckle) Extract
- Caviar Extract
- Royal Jelly Extract
- Hydrolyzed collagen
- Grape callus culture extract
- Tomato calluse culture extract
- EGF
- Sodium hyaluronate
- Ethyl ascorbyletel
The second of my Korean Beauty haul parcels that arrived this morning was a mixture of items that I wanted to try, plus one item that I already own and am running low on. Once again some free samples were also included in my parcel.
3w Clinic Aqua Glow Mist – 150ml – £6.07
The Aqua Glow Mist by 3W Clinic is a product that I previously got in one of my Kawaii Panda Boxes and I use it every day and I love it. It’s cooling and refreshing on the skin, and very moisturising, not to mention it smells fantastic too. I’ve only got less than a 1/3 of a bottle left, so I had to get some more. This product is one I will keep repurchasing as I love it so much.
Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Mist – 60ml – £5.52
I missed out on the Pocket Bunny Mist by Tony Moly that was also included in April’s Kawaii Panda Box I think it was. So when I saw it I had to order it. I’ve tested it out today and it’s a lovely moisturising mist that you spray onto your face when you feel you need some hydration. It has a really nice light fruity fragrance which is not surprising as it contains Baobab leaf extract, Peach extract, strawberry extract, raspberry extract, Celtic water.
Holika Holika Smoothie Peeling Jam – 75ml (Grape Expectation) – £5.91
The Smoothie Peeling Jam (Grape Expectation) by Holika Holika smells out of this world. It’s just so fruity. It contains multifruit BSC found in fresh fruits. It will remove dead skin cells and replenish them. I am really looking forward to trying this out.
Etude House Play Therapy Pink Firming UP! Sleeping Pack – 150ml – £5.86
Etude House Play Therapy Pink Firming UP! Sleeping Pack is a sleeping pack that claims to:-
firm and nourish skin by hugging skin overnight with its Nutrition Compact TM and collagen ingredients.
I will have to get back to you on how this sleeping pack performs and if it lives up to the claims it makes. It does smell nice and feels nice when I tried it on the back of my hand, so we will see.
Skin Food Honey Pot Lip Balm – 6.5g – £3.99
Lastly in this order is the Skin Food Honey Pot Lip Balm in Berry. I mean come on, how adorable is this honey pot? I could not resist buying it! It was just way too cute and who doesn’t love a cute lip balm that smells and tastes like berries?! I love the whole packaging on this; especially the tiny wooden applicator. It’s just way too cute!
So that is the entirety of my Korean skincare haul. I was a little nervous ordering products from an eBay store and online store where the products would be coming from Korea. They both had good feedback though and I am really glad that I went ahead and ordered. Both stores packaged their parcels exceedingly well so no damage occurred to my products at all. They both arrived well within the maximum time stated for delivery, plus fabulous Korean products, so I am a very happy customer. The eBay store also has an online shop too.
