If there was one cosmetic procedure I would like to have, it is to have some lip filler in my top lip as it’s always been smaller than my bottom and when I smile, it tends to disappear. So when I was offered the chance to try a lip plumper from Code Beautiful, along with a lip liner, well, of course, I just had to say yes.
Code Beautiful Soft Smooth Lip Liner
The Code Beautiful Soft Smooth Lip Liner will help to define, volumise and hydrate your lips. One of the things I love about this lip liner is that you can sharpen it just by twisting the lid clockwise till it clicks. It doesn’t feather and is very blendable.
You can apply as just a liner but if you want to make the most of the lip plumping ingredient you can also fill your lips in with it. This makes a fantastic base for your lipstick. Of course, it’s best used with the Lip Intense Plumper.
When I applied it to my lips it went on smoothly and didn’t scratch as some liners can do. It was also very soft and easy to blend too. I didn’t fill my lips as I wanted to see how it worked as just a liner. I give it a thumbs up for sure.
Another great thing about the lip liner is that it is also Cruelty-Free and Vegan-Friendly! It really is one of the nicest lip liners I have ever used.
Code Beautiful Lip Intense Plumper
After I had lined my lips with the Soft Smooth Lip Liner I then applied the Code Beautiful Lip Intense Plumper, the star of the show. I immediately felt intense tingling on my lips as soon as I had applied it. With a minty scent/flavour this lip plumper felt really nice to apply.
Though the tingling was strong it didn’t burn or hurt; something I have experienced with other lip plumping products. One thing I really liked was that it wasn’t sticky at all, as I often find these kinds of products to be quite sticky on the lips.
What I also liked is that you do get fuller lips but the plumping is very natural looking.
I was really happy with the results and if you apply the lip plumper more than once, you get even better results. Continuous use should help to improve the fullness of your lips, thanks to Hyaluronic Acid and Code Beautiful’s magic ingredient Hilurlip.
Like the Soft Smooth Liner, the Lip Intense Plumper is also Cruelty-Free and Vegan-Friendly.
As you can see there is a noticeable difference after using the lip liner and lip plumper. The two photos were taken approximately 1o minutes apart. My top lip is a lot fuller and my bottom lip is considerably fuller too.
