When it comes to skincare, my one kinda bugbear is eye creams. They can be a bit hit and miss I find, don’t you? I think it’s easy to give up on them too as they can take as much as 6 or 8 weeks before you can see any difference. If there even is any difference that is. So you begin to wonder if it’s actually doing anything at all. Anyway, Ocean D’argán Crystal Pearl Eye Cream is an eye cream that I tried out a while back.

Application
The Crystal Pearl Eye Cream is a really lovely lightweight gel. So applying it is really easy. It absorbs into the skin effortlessly and I found it has an almost cooling, refreshing effect immediately upon application. At least it did for me anyway. It felt great to use it first thing in the morning. I love eye creams that leave your eyes feeling awake and fresh.
I used the eye cream not only under my eyes but on my eyelids too. Both in my morning and nighttime skincare routines.
It’s worth mentioning that the skin around the eye area is a lot thinner, so when applying an eye cream you want to gently pat it into the skin using your ring finger. Don’t rub it in, as you will just drag your skin and over time this will cause fine lines and wrinkles. Possibly even saggy skin. It really is important to pat, NOT rub!
As you can see in the macro shot above, it has an irridescent spiral in the gel. Making it also aesthetically beautiful. The important thing for me though, was that it left no sticky, tacky or greasy residue after applying. My under-eye area tends to be quite dry, so my skin just drank it up.
Specially developed and formulated for the treatment of the eye contour area. It improves skin elasticity, density and tone, leaving the eye area looking more refreshed and luminous. It helps improve under-eye puffiness, wrinkles, crow’s feet and dark circles.
This product is supposed to be suited to all skin types but I can only speak for how it behaved with my skin type, which is normal/dry. Sometimes my skin can also be sensitive but that tends to be if I damage my skin’s barrier or it is exceptionally dry. At the time of testing this Crystal Pearl Eye Cream, my skin wasn’t sensitive at all.
Overall Thoughts on the Ocean D’argán Crystal Pearl Eye Cream
After using this cream a little over 8 weeks my dark circles weren’t as noticeable. My dark circles are not hereditary though, so they are a little easier to get rid of. It’s just when I have disrupted sleep for a few weeks that they make an appearance.
I believe if you have hereditary dark circles there is little to be done in the way of eye creams that will get rid of them completely. So, it’s worth noting that, rather than splashing out on expensive eye creams that most likely won’t help them.
I don’t have eye bags so I can’t say if the Crystal Pearl Eye Cream works on them or not. As for fine lines and wrinkles, although it was hard to tell, there was a very small improvement. Then again my fine lines and wrinkles were not very prominent at the time of using this eye cream.
The Crystal Pearl Eye Cream was most effective on my dark circles. My eye area did look brighter than before I started using it. Another thing I really liked about it was how refreshing it was to use. When my eyes were particularly tired, the eye cream was very soothing.
Overall, I really liked the Crystal Pearl Eye Cream and the results I had from using it.
