I was thrilled to be contacted by Ellora Beauty a few weeks ago, to see if I would like to review some of their products. Always happy to discover and review new skincare products, I was only too happy to say yes.
They very kindly sent me three of their products to try.
- Intensive Eye Contour Serum
- Cleansing Beauty Milk
- Regenerating BB Cream for combination, oily skin

- Where Can I Purchase Ellora Beauty Products?
On reading that, you can’t help but be impressed! So, I was very excited to try their products.

I really like the packaging of the Ellora Beauty products. Pump dispensers are always more hygienic to use. The design is clean and pretty without being overly fussy.
My Sensitive Skin
Now, I have, to be honest, and say that I had to stop using the eye serum and the cleansing milk a few days after starting them. I have very sensitive skin and I’m not sure if it was the eye cream or the cleanser that I reacted to, but it really dried out my under eye area.
I contacted Ellora Beauty and they advised me to stop using them, which I did. They assured me that I am the first person that has ever had any reaction to their products.
Honestly, with how funny my skin can be, that does not surprise me. I take a boatload of medication every day, which makes my skin so unpredictable at times. Plus I have Chronic Urticaria that manifests as physical urticaria when my skin is stroked, lightly scratched etc. On top of that, I also have Fibromyalgia which causes skin sensitivity and skin conditions too. So, I have far from ‘normal’ skin.
However, I do not think their products were at fault – I am 100% sure it was just my skin being overly sensitive.
Because I was unable to fully test and review the two skincare products, I asked if they would mind someone else testing them instead. They were happy for me to do this.
So, Andy agreed to test this eye serum and the cleansing milk. He used both products over a period of 4 weeks. There was no reaction or irritation from either product and his skin type is normal.
Intensive Eye Contour Serum – £19.00 15ml
Ingredients:
aqua, glycerin, olea europaea fruit oil, prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, isoamyl laurate, albizia julibrissin bark extract, darutoside, sodium stearoyl lactylate, polyglyceryl-3 stearate, malus domestica fruit cell culture extract, xanthan gum, lecithin, butyrospermum parkii butter, persea gratissima oil, borago officinalis seed oil, sideritis scardica extract, rosa damascena extract, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl monostearate, stearic acid, avena sativa kernel extract, allantoin, panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, disodium edta, bht, benzyl alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, parfum
Paraben-free, mineral oil-free and not tested on animals.
The eye serum has a light creamy consistency and it claims to ‘restore the youthful and luminous look of the skin around the eyes‘. Not only that but BEAUTIFEYE ™, a blend of herbal extracts, is supposed to have a lifting action on sagging upper eyelids.
It helps to diminish lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. The Swiss Apple Stem Cells, PhytoCellTec™, help to combat visible signs of chronological skin ageing. Vitamins, Mountain Tea, Damask Rose, Oat Extracts and Almond, Olive, Avocado and Borage Oils blend together to moisturise, soothe, smooth and tone the skin around the eyes.
So, you are left with your eye area more radiant, firmer and energised.
Before and After – Eye Serum
As you can see in the Before photo on the left, Andy has some fine lines. Plus a slightly sagging upper eyelid. In the After photo on the right, after 4 weeks of use, there are already noticeable differences.
The two deep lines at the outer corner of his eye have gone completely. As have some of the finer lines. The upper eyelid looks firmer and isn’t sagging as much, especially at the outer corner. The under-eye area looks plumper and firmer too.
I think that is a very marked improvement on his whole eye area and I know he is continuing to use the eye serum too.
Cleansing Beauty Milk – £16.00 150ml
Ingredients:
aqua, glycerin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, prunus armeniaca kernel oil, helianthus annuus seed oil, polyglyceryl-3 stearate, sodium stearoyl lactylate, butyrospermum parkii butter, sideritis scardica extract, malus domestica fruit cell culture extract, lecithin, trifolium pratense flower extract, rosa damascena extract, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, beta-glucan, panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, allantoin, tocopherol, retinyl palmitate, xanthan gum, sodium phytate, alcohol, benzyl alcohol, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, parfum
Paraben-free, mineral oil-free and not tested on animals.
A really, creamy cleanser which you apply with your fingertips, then remove with cotton pads or rinse off with water. It’s delicate on the skin and really does remove all the daily dirt from your skin.
It contains Swiss Apple Stem Cells, PhytoCellTec™, like the eye serum. This helps combat the visible signs of ageing. Red Clover, which is rich in Isoflavones, helps to renew the look of the skin. Damask Rose and Mountain Tea extracts leave your skin deeply nourished and moisturised, whilst soothing and smoothing it too.
Before and After – Cleanser
I am actually quite floored at the difference in just 4 weeks. The before picture is on the left, the after picture is on the right. His skin is very visibly brighter, smoother and his pores are less visible too. I think it has more of a glow, radiance to it and it looks nourished and hydrated too.
Again, really great results!

Regenerating BB Cream
When it comes to makeup, the one thing I hate wearing is foundation. I hate my skin to feel cakey. Most often than not, the foundation adheres to any dry patches which just emphasises the dry areas.
I’ve only tried a couple of BB creams before and I wasn’t really impressed by either of them.
After some discussion about my skin, Ellora Beauty decided on sending me their BB Cream for combination/oily skin. This was because I do have visible pores, and redness even though I have dry skin.
Their Regenerating BB Cream provides medium UV protection SPF 20. However, it minimises shine whilst providing long-lasting coverage. Evening out your skin tone, reducing redness and minimising the appearance of pores and blemishes. The special formulation helps to preserve a more youthful-looking complexion, whilst visibly reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Ingredients
Active ingredients such as Swiss Apple Stem Cells, PhytoCellTec™, Pomegranate Flower Extract, Colla-Gain™, all help to combat signs of ageing, smooth the skin and diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Hyaluronic Acid, Argan Oil and Vitamins make sure your skin is thoroughly hydrated and that your skin’s barrier function is restored and maintained.
Before and After with the BB Cream
In the picture above, you can see me with my naked face on the left. On the right is just one application of the Regenerating BB Cream. I applied it with a blender and the shade is ‘Light’. I thought it was going to be too dark but it turned out to be the perfect shade for my skin tone.
Application
It’s easy to apply and gives light coverage. I was really pleased that it didn’t cling to any dry patches too. I am only wearing the BB Cream – no concealer, no powder. Any previous redness had been reduced and it definitely made my skin look smoother. I was also quite surprised when I compared these pics to see how much it reduced the deep line where I always furrow my brows.

You can see on these close-ups that it doesn’t settle into pores or fine lines either. Which I was thrilled about. It was quite moisturising yet didn’t leave my skin shiny or oily at all.

I will definitely be using this Regenerating BB Cream again, as I really loved the results. Plus, there was no oxidation either and it wore really well.
For anyone after a light, natural coverage, I would definitely recommend this BB Cream.
Overall Thoughts About Ellora Beauty Products

Whilst I was unable to fully test the two skincare products myself, there is no denying that they definitely live up to their claims. Usually, eye serums and creams need 6 weeks to start to see any results, so that is particularly impressive.
Cleansers usually show results after 4 weeks. Again, you can definitely see the differences in the before and after photos. Andy’s skin shows very visible improvements in texture, tone and radiance and overall his skin looks more rejuvenated.
I really loved the Regenerating BB Cream. So, I am confident in saying that, once again, this product lived up to its claims.
The one thing I haven’t mentioned yet is that all 3 of these products smell really lovely too. They have a really fresh, slightly fruity/floral scent. It’s subtle though, so anyone sensitive to smells should be fine to use these.
It’s an added bonus that these products are all paraben-free, mineral oil-free and not tested on animals.
Also, they don’t cost the earth either.
I would definitely recommend trying Ellora Beauty products out for yourself too.
