Look Incredible is a monthly beauty subscription box. I would say this beauty box is more on the luxury side as it often contains a high-end product or two. So, what did the July 2016 Look Incredible beauty box select for us? I was sensing a little bit of a summer vibe from the card and the contents were along those lines.

Nanshy Marvel 4-in-1 Blending Sponge
I’m quite a fan of beauty blenders so was very happy to receive this Nanshy Marvel 4-in-1 Blending Sponge. It’s very soft and bouncy but retains its shape when damp. I was pretty impressed with the quality of it and it applies foundation beautifully. (RRP £5.95)
Ultrasun Sports SPF50 Protection Spray 150ml
This Ultrasun Sports SPF50 Protection Spray 150ml offers UVA & UVB protection all day. It’s suitable for all the family and is waterproof, non-staining and non-greasy. I will be passing this on to one of my sons as he has just started an apprenticeship that involves a lot of outdoor work; this will be perfect to protect him throughout the day. (RRP £24.99)
Giorgio Armani Flash Lacquer Shine Gloss #109
Now, I’m not sure what happened with this item because on the information card it says Giorgio Armani Waterproof Eye Pencil #5 Copper but instead, I got a lip gloss. I’m not complaining as quite honestly, I’d have been happy with either. I believe this is a Giorgio Armani Flash Lacquer Shine Gloss #109. A beautiful pale shimmery nude. Non-sticky and perfect when you want a very minimal lip. (RRP £24-27.00)
Ciate Corrupted Neon Manicure
I’m not sure that I will use this Ciate Corrupted Neon Manicure set but my teenage daughter jumped at the chance when I offered it to her, so it definitely won’t go unused. Pretty neon pink polish and a black light topcoat mean your nails will be glowing under UV light. (RRP £9.99)
Urban Decay Lush Lash System
The final item in the July Look Incredible box is the Urban Decay Lush Lash System. This contains a gel-like serum on one end and a conditioning mask, applied like mascara on the other end. I have been using this every night for the past 4 nights and I can’t say as yet if it is starting to make a difference. I read a lot of online reviews and they seem to be very positive, so I am hoping this will lengthen and thicken my lashes. It contains growth-enhancing Peptides, Panthenol and Vitamin E.
It’s very easy to apply, I use it every night after finishing my nightly skincare routine. To apply just brush the serum over your lash base, as you would a liquid eyeliner, then just apply the conditioning mask like mascara. That is all there is too. Easy peasy… and hopefully in a few weeks, beautifully long, lush lashes! (RRP £28.00)
My Overall Thoughts on the July 2016 Look Incredible box
Look Incredible still continue to curate really great boxes each month. Once again we have quality products from Giorgio Armani and Urban Decay. They consistently deliver their promise of 5 full-sized high-quality products. My favourite product this month is definitely the Urban Decay Lush Lash System because my lashes used to be really thick and long but since becoming ill they have gotten very sparse. I really hope this product will benefit them.
I’ve kind of resigned myself to the fact that during the summer months most beauty boxes put some kind of sun care in their boxes but as I don’t go outside anymore it’s not a good item for me to receive, however, I do pass them on for others to get good use from them. That was my only real ‘meh’ product for me this month; but that’s just me personally, not a reflection on the quality of the product.
