New EU Sheet Mask Subscription – Sheet Happens!

If there is one thing the UK and the EU lack where Asian beauty is concerned, it’s a quality sheet mask subscription box.  Thanks to the lovely Paula, that is about to change though. Based in Sweden, Paula began with her Instagram account, Sheet Happens about a year ago. She immediately fell in love with Korean beauty products and in particular sheet masks.

Living in Sweden, Paula became frustrated that sheet masks were impossible to come across. So, she came up with the idea of opening her own store and well, sheet happened!

With the help and support of her boyfriend, the Sheet Happens store was released in November 2016.

It was only a matter of time before deciding to launch a Sheet Happens subscription box too.

The first Sheet Happens box will launch in April but Paula very kindly sent me an exclusive preview box to review.

So, what can you expect from the Sheet Happens subscription?

When you sign for the Sheet Happens Subscription Box, you will receive box of 8-10 carefully selected sheet masks straight to your home in a monthly basis. Depending on how often you mask, 8-10 masks a month should keep your sheet mask stash topped up nicely. Plus, there is also the element of surprise each month.

So, with that said, let’s dive into the exclusive preview box I was so kindly sent.

Packaging

I really loved the packaging and box design. A subtle pink in colour with the Sheet Happens logo on the front and on the bottom is this rather adorable mini-guide on how to use sheet masks. Cute right?! It’s a really sturdy box that ensures the contents are well protected during their journey. Inside, the masks are wrapped in pretty tissue paper, and sealed with the Sheet Happens logo sticker.

There is a useful information sheet that lists all the masks included in the box and a little bit about each mask too.

Extras

Also included were these two samples. A Skinfood Royal Honey Essential Queens Cream and a Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream. It’s always nice to get samples in subscription boxes.

Mask 1: Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack

This is a real favourite for a lot of Kbeauty lovers. I love the essence in this but sadly the mask doesn’t do much for my skin other than moisturising it a little. I know it works wonders for others though, so it was really nice to see this in the box, as it’s a bit of a cult favourite for many.

Mask 2: Berrisom Animal Mask Placenta & Adenosine

Some of the cute animal masks have really surprised me. You’d think they were just a bit of fun but no, these masks are actually pretty good. Adenosine is great for anti-ageing and the placenta will help make your skin look firm and youthful. Plus, you get to have a bit of fun too in the process of treating your skin!

Mask 3: DR. Jart+ Dermask Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution

This is a cellulose sheet mask that deeply hydrates, replenishes, and protects the skin’s own moisture. I’ve wanted to try a Dr Jart+ mask for a while, so I was really pleased to see this included. I can’t wait to try it.

Mask 4: Holika Holika Moisturising Ampoule Ceramide+Honey

This mask is great for tired and dry skins. Providing a real hit of moisture to firm and rejuvenate your skin. It intensely nourishes and moisturises. It’s rare to come across a bad mask that has honey as one of its main ingredients.

Mask 5: Mediheal Line Friends E.G.T Timetox Ampoule

Say hello to the cute Line Friends. This mask is aimed at minimising fine lines and wrinkles. Plus, it will firm and boost your skin too. It’s one of Mediheals best selling masks and for good reason.

Mask 6: Nature Republic Real Nature Avocado

This mask is made with real avocado and it increases skin absorption potential. It will hydrate and moisture very dry, rough skin. It’s packed with natural ingredients too.

Mask 7: Petitfree Gold & Snail Hydrogel

This hydrogel mask is soaked in essence containing pure gold powder and snail filtrate which helps to maintain water & oil balance in the skin. Designed to improve elasticity, and to firm and tone tired skin for a brighter and healthier look. I really love hydrogel masks, so I am excited to get to try this one.

Mask 8: Secret Key Starting Treatment Essential

With 90% fermented yeast, this mask acts as a moisture barrier and has anti-inflammatory properties. It improves skin tone, hydration, skin brightness and elasticity.

Mask 9: Tony Moly I’m Real Red Wine

I’ve had one of these masks sitting in my stash for a while but just haven’t got around to trying it. This mask is formulated with real red wine extract. That helps to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and will also tighten and purify the skin too. Resulting in a healthier-looking complexion.

Mask 10: Welcos Jeju Natural Volcanic

I also recently purchased some of these too but I got the Canola Honey version. I might give this one to my daughter as it would be perfect for her skin. It helps to remove excess sebum and dead skin. The camellia flower & cactus extracts should leave the skin feeling soft and fresh.

Overall Thoughts About Sheet Happens

As this was an exclusive preview box, the first box that will launch in April will not have the same contents.

I really liked the selection of masks included in this preview box though.

There was a nice variety of well-known & lesser-known brands. Most of the masks were suitable for all skin types, which is great when you can’t specify masks for your own skin type.

It was also nice to get a couple of samples too.

The packaging is really lovely. Both the box and contents are presented really beautifully. This would be an ideal box for someone just getting into Kbeauty or someone that likes to mask quite frequently.

Given it’s not always so easy to purchase good sheet masks if you’re in the EU unless you buy direct from Korea that is, this is a fantastic way to try out different masks each month.

They even have Whamisa sheet masks which I am dying to try!
