AD | Are you a blogger or do you have your own business? If so, personalised business cards are a small but important detail. Think of them as your first impression, and you want to make sure they are memorable. Personalised business cards have the potential to create an emotional connection with a potential client or customer. And it is much easier for someone to take a card that has their name on it than one that does not.
They say that you only get 7 seconds to make a good impression. So this is your opportunity to make sure the person remembers you and wants to work with you! They can also be used as a marketing tool. Plus they can be handed out at various events and conferences to promote blog content while gathering feedback from readers or potential customers.
Personalised Business Cards Make A Good First Impression
The first impression is everything when it comes to blogging. It sets the tone and gives readers a glimpse of what they can expect from your blog. And, business cards are one of the best ways to get that first impression right! If you’re looking for a creative way to distinguish yourself, then personalised business cards are perfect for you.
Business cards have been used since ancient times as a way to represent who someone is and what they do. They were even used by the Roman aristocracy before the invention of coins or paper currency.
A personalised business card can give people more insight into your company and personality. If you’re blogging, it can help you to up your blog’s credibility. Plus, drive traffic to your site, and provide an easy way for people to contact you.
I’ve personally been blogging since early 2016 and even though I have thought about getting some personalised business cards before, I’ve just never gotten around to it. It always felt like something I could put off until another time and here I am five years later.
Use A Reputable Printing Company
You will want to make sure that you choose a reputable printing company, preferably with a design team that you can work with and trust, to design the perfect business cards for you.
The lovely people over at Aura Print sent me 250 personalised pearlescent business cards to review and so I finally got to have my own business cards after all these years.
The ordering process was extremely easy. I just had to pick a design, there are lots of customisations you can make to the card design, from rounded corners to square cards to the type of card that it’s printed on and much much more. Of course, if you would prefer to print off the cards themselves then make sure you have enough ink to do so!
Pick a Good Design and Make Sure To Include All Your Information
I choose rounded corners and also a pearlescent card and to have them printed on both sides. You can upload your own logo design or you can let Aura Print design one for you. I sent them my own logo along with all the other information I wanted on my business cards, like my socials and email address. As my design was very simple I did tell them that if they thought something else would work better then to just go for it.
I absolutely loved the end design they came up with; I adore how they added the face to it and had it coming off my logo. It just works so well! The whole design is clean and simple, yet still classy and elegant. Which is exactly what I asked for! I also stated what colours to use and they adhered to that too. The card itself is of really high quality and I’m so happy that I went with the pearlescent card and the rounded corners.
The cards came packed really well too and the small plastic cardholders they came in are so useful to store them in & have on display. All in all such a pleasant experience and Aura Print were really accommodating. Before printing, they contact you with a preview of the final design. So, if you’re not happy at that stage, you can still make changes.
Everyone that I have handed my new cards out to has commented on how nice they are and the quality of them. They are definitely making a very good first impression! Which is exactly what you want when giving out your business card.
I honestly cannot recommend Aura Print enough.
