I’ve often thought of getting some photos put onto canvas but always thought it would be quite pricey. So when I was approached by Canvaschamp to try their service, I already knew which photo I would get put onto canvas.
This photo is of my daughter. She is the youngest of five and my only daughter. Not this little anymore though as she turns 14 this summer.
It was taken quite a number of years ago but I have always loved this picture of her. It really shows her cheeky character and I just think it’s a really beautiful photo of her. Especially considering this wasn’t taken by a professional; it was just a random snapshot of her.
I emailed this photo to Canvaschamp to be put onto a 12 x 8 canvas and then all I had to do, was to sit and wait for it to arrive. Within just a few days I received my canvas.
The canvas was extremely well packaged and protected when it arrived. I’m not kidding when I say it took me an age to get into it! Protected with bubble wrap, padding, paper and lots and lots of tape. It would have taken some really bad handling during its journey for it to have suffered any damage.
As you can see, the image is mirrored and actually covers the canvas edges too. This is an option you can choose, or you can have just a block of colour or wrap around image. It’s entirely up to you when you order.
The canvas print was very neatly and securely attached to the frame; as is the hook with which you mount it on the wall.
Overall Thoughts About Canvaschamp
I was really pleased with how the canvas print came out. It captured all the detail from the original photo so beautifully
It’s a little difficult to show the canvas how the canvas looks in real life due to the light reflecting on it. It’s very rich and has depth, just like the original photo does. These photos honestly don’t do it enough justice.
I really recommend trying Canvaschamp if you want to make any of your photos into a canvas print. Such a great way to make a lasting memory and also, a really fantastic gift idea for loved ones too.
