What’s in the Box?
So, let’s take a look at what was in the March Little-Known Box, shall we?
As you can see, the box comes beautifully packaged in a chic black and gold box. You can also see that Little-Known Box make sure that anything that might possibly break in transit, is extra protected inside the box. Ensuring, hopefully, that it arrives in perfect condition when it reaches you.
Saturated Colour Sheer Stick Retail Price £7.00
This beautiful Sheer Stick in Breezy Coral is perfect for adding a sheer touch of colour to your lips. 100% cruelty-free and containing Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and a menthol flavour, it is also incredibly good and nourishing for your lips too. I have to admit when I first saw this colour, I did think to myself that I could not possibly wear it. Coral is just not my colour. However, because it’s so sheer I can, which is great. It feels really lovely on the lips too.
Bloomtown Botanicals Sugar Scrub Mini Jar Retail Price £ 5.60
I’m already a HUGE fan of Bloomtown Botanicals, so was thrilled to see one of their sugar scrubs in the March Little-Known Box. There were three scents available, fruity, floral and woody and I received the woody one. I’m really pleased because I actually have their other scrubs already but I didn’t have The Woods. All of their products are free from palm oil, SLS, parabens and synthetic colours. A perfect blend of natural & botanical ingredients, along with aromatherapy create some pretty amazing products.
Edge Nails 5-Star Top Coat Retail Price £2.34
Edge Nails is a British business and they offer a wide range of professional nail care products at affordable prices. They have something to suit all budgets too. Apply this topcoat for a longer-lasting manicure. To be honest, I’m not really sure there is too much more that can be said about a topcoat. They kind of all do the same job in my experience. I rarely paint my nails though, so it may be a while before I put this topcoat to the test. I have a fair selection of nail polish but my daughter uses them more than I do.
HJ Manicure Nail Polish Retail Price £9.50
Of course, Little-Known Box had to provide us with nail polish to go with the topcoat. This is one of 3 colours that were included in the March Little-Known Box. I’ve not tried out this colour yet but I do love a good nude nail polish on the rare occasion that I actually paint my nails. This shade is called Caramel Latte. HJ Manicure nail polish is 5 FREE too, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.
Vintage Cosmetics Company Blending Sponge Retail Price £5.95
I always love the packaging of the Vintage Cosmetics Company. This fab blending sponge is latex-free and is also infused with Vitamin E oil. I think that’s a first for me. I’ve not come across any other blending sponges that are infused with any kind of oils. Obviously, that’s great for your skin. This blending sponge is a good teardrop shape. Great for reaching hard to blend areas of the face. It can also be used for highlighter and concealer, as well as foundation. It has a nice texture, not too firm, not too soft and a good ‘bounce’.
Soapsmith Handmade Soap Travel Size Retail Price £7.00 full size
This soap totally threw me because it had a completely different scent from what I expected. This one is ‘Marble Arch’ but they have 9 different scents all inspired by London’s most characterful places. With vanilla, sweet orange oils, saffron and a hint of patchouli essential oils in this soap, it really does smell heavenly. As I said, I was expecting it to smell quite medicinal when I first saw it. Just goes to show, looks mean nothing! I do adore handmade soaps though and this Soapsmith one was just gorgeous. It really did look like marble too!
Overall Thoughts About The March Little-Known Box
Once again Little-Known Box has curated a really beautiful March box.
