Contents of the November Degusta Box 2024
Sweet Items
Monty Bojangles Pretzel Parade (£3.95 ea)
It’s been a long time since I tried anything from Monty Bojangles and I had forgotten how nice the chocolate is. These Pretzel Parade truffles are divine. The smooth creamy truffle combined with the tiny bits of white chocolate chips and pretzel flavour is just heavenly.
Available at Ocado
Chewits Fruity Jewels (£1.29)
You would have received either the Sour Wormz or the Sour Boltz in your November box. I received the Sour Wormz. I love sour sweets, so these were a nice find. These were great, nice level of sourness and still full of flavour.
Available in select stores
Moo Free Jingle Chums (£0.80 ea)
So cute! These little milk chocolate bars are dairy-free and Vegan-friendly. You don’t know which Christmas character you’ve got until you open the wrapper. For dairy-free and vegan it wasn’t bad chocolate.
Available at moofreechocolates.com, Tesco and ASDA
Product of the Month
Ambrosia Plant Based Custard (£1.95 ea)
Sadly my tin was a little worse for wear when I unpacked my box, not that it will harm the taste. This is Ambrosia’s first plant-based custard with no preservatives or artificial colours. I honestly wouldn’t have known that this was plant-based as it tasted nice and creamy.
Available in Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco
Condiments & Seasoning
Knorr Herby Stock Pot (£1.90** ea)
Seems like we’re on a roll with Knorr Stock Pots as this is the third month in a row that there’s been one in the box. Not that I am disappointed as we love the stock pots and they’re fantastic to keep stocked up on.
** Retail price is at the sole discretion of the retailer.
Available in Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Ocado and ASDA
Savoury Items
Blanco Niño Tortilla Chips (£2.95)
You would have received one of three available flavours in your November box. I got Lightly Salted but Chilli & Lime and Smokey Chipotle were also available. No artificial ingredients, gluten-free and vegan-friendly, these tortilla chips are made using an ancient method known as nixtamalisation. They also use non-GMO corn too. They were one of the nicest tortilla chips I have ever had!
Available in Saisnburys, Co-op, Ocado and Wholefoods
Mission Wholemeal Wraps (£1.59)
These new wholemeal wraps are a tasty change from regular wraps. They’re high in fibre and great for making a quick snack or you can get more creative and use them to make a bigger meal.
Available in Morrisons
Drinks
Double Dutch Drinks (£1.00)
Ginger Ale is a firm favourite of mine and I hadn’t tried this one before. It has such a nice ginger flavour and you can taste that bit of a kick from the natural ginger. I love to drink ginger ale on its own or with whiskey. Although I rarely drink alcohol nowadays. I might have a glass of Asti at Christmas.
Available on the Double Dutch Drinks website, Ocado and Amazon
Eisberg Selection Pinot Grigio 0.0% or Selection Pinot Noir 0.0% (£8.00)
You would have received one of these wines in your box. I got the Pinot Noir in mine. I have had Eisberg many times in the past and it’s always been nice. I’ve not tried this one as I don’t like red wine, even if it is alcohol-free! Andy was fairly impressed by it and he loves red wine!
Available at Morrisons, Club Soda and Amazon
Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic Juice Drink (£1.85)
I’ve tried to drink cranberry juice over the years but I just don’t like it. I always find cranberries too bitter for my liking. Having said that, I do enjoy dried cranberries. I know they are really good for you and I mean when you think of cranberry juice, you think of Ocean Spray – well, I do at least. lol
Available in major supermarket chains
Clearly Drinks Revolution Waves (£1.00)
Loved this drink. I don’t think I have ever tasted such a strong but still natural raspberry flavour. It’s refreshing too and I think the price is good as well. They’ve also got added vitamins and minerals.
Available in Heron Foods and Wholesalers
Final Thoughts On The Degusta Box November 2024
It was nice to see 4 different drinks in the Degusta Box for November 2024. Plus, I think there were only 2 items that I wouldn’t eat – that happens rarely!
Of course, Monty Bojangles Pretzel Parade was by far my favourite item out of this box but the Ginger Ale by Double Dutch Drinks was also lovely, as was the Clearly Drinks by Revolution Waves.
