I know, I am extremely late with sharing the details of the Degusta Box for September 2024. My health has just been particularly bad lately. I thought I had turned a corner earlier in the year but no. Anyway, that’s another story so onto the September Degusta Box.
I enjoyed discovering a couple of new brands that I hadn’t heard of before. It’s always exciting to find hidden gems among familiar favourites. And if you’re looking for inspiration on what to whip up in the kitchen, there are some fantastic ingredients included that spark creativity! What is Degusta Box All About?
So, if you are new here and have never heard of Degusta Box UK I’ll quickly explain what it is and how it works.
Degusta Box UK is a monthly subscription box that contains between 10-15 items each month, most of which are new to the market. The products are chosen and put together by a team of specialists who look for foods that are versatile, innovative, and delicious. You can read some of my reviews for previous boxes here. It costs £14.99 per month. You can also find a discount at the end of the post. So, that means you’ll pay just £9.99 for your first box!

I am wondering if they are doing less specific themes to the boxes; there was no theme for this box at any rate. It features 11 brands and 14 products. So, without further ado, let’s dive in!

Sweet Items
SMINT Strawberry XXL Tin (£1.50 ea)
These strawberry SMINT are so nice and I love that they are available in this XXL which contains 50 of them. Whilst I love mint/s they do not mix with my acid reflux. Discovering these strawberry ones was a lovely surprise and they state really fruit but still very refreshing!

LU Le Petit Cookie (£1.35 ea)
These cookies are incredibly moreish and have lovely chunky chocolate chips in them. I have tried other LU biscuits which we have all enjoyed, especially their Le Petit Beurre Biscuits. You can’t go wrong with these cookies.

Product of the Month
Tilda Ltd Saag Aloo Rice Limited Edition (£1.54 ea)
Tilda is back with this month’s Product of the Month, Saag Aloo Rice. Not something that I would personally eat but it’s a great combination and quick, easy and ready to eat in just 3 minutes.

Condiments & Seasoning
MAGGI Air Fryer Recipe Mix (£0.99 ea)
We use our Airfryer a lot these days, so these MAGGI Air Fryer Recipe mixes are so handy to keep in. You would have received 3 of these in your Degusta Box for September.

Flava It! Fuss-Free Seasoning Mixes (£1.19 ea)
You can use these flavourful seasoning mixes to elevate your dishes. They truly are fuss-free too. You would have received both of these in your September box.

Cirio Bologna or Ragu Pasta Sauce (£2.25)
These Cirio pasta sauces make pasta dishes easy. One of two flavours would have been in your box this month.

Knorr Red Wine Stock Pot (£1.90)
We love Knorr Stock Pots, so we are always happy to find them in our Degusta Boxes. They add so much flavour to dishes. We use this one in pasta dishes and also in stews and cottage pie.

Drinks
Acti+ Clean Energy Drink(£1.50)
These drinks are available in Strawberry & Dragon Fruit and Peach & Apricot and you would have received one of the two flavours in your box. A natural, clean energy drink that boosts performance and focus with nootropics, vitamins and minerals. They are sugar-free and, enhance mental sharpness, reduce tiredness and support immunity. Nice drink but I didn’t feel any different or less tired after drinking this.

MYOM Original Oat Drink Premix (£1.10)
New to me was this oat drink premix that you just add water to and shake to produce 500ml of oat milk. It’s made from a creamy blend of oats, fortified with calcium, iodine and Vitamins B12 and D3. I think this is a fantastic product and a great dairy milk alternative.

Cereal Items
Jordan’s Country Crisp Limited Edition Blueberry Crumble (£3.60 ea)
This is such a lovely cereal. I don’t usually like things like this as I find them too dry – even with milk – but this was such a pleasant surprise. The clusters are a nice size and you can chew on the blueberries rather than having to hunt the fruit pieces down. It has such a lovely blueberry flavour and the milk turns a lovely shade too!

Savoury Items
Truly Nuts! Always Stoked Smoked or Fired Up Chilli Flavoured Nuts (£1.30 ea)
You would have received one packet of these Truly Nuts! in your September Degusta Box. I don’t like Brazil Nuts and I don’t like smoked food either, so these were not for me. Andy really enjoyed them though and said they were really tasty and had a lovely smokey flavour.

Final Thoughts On The Degusta Box September 2024
I have to be honest. Overall, this box was a bit meh for me. It did have a lot of good products that the family as a whole will and have used. There just wasn’t much that I liked, and only a couple of products that I loved.
My favourite products from this box were the strawberry SMINT; I’m still using these and will replace them when they run out. I also really enjoyed the LU Le Petit Cookie too. Very moreish.
