It was looking like my November 2016 Bomibox wouldn’t make an appearance till after Christmas but I was thrilled to receive it a couple of days before. Even better, no custom charges this time either. So, YAY!

What’s in the Box?
As I’ve come to expect, the November 2016 Bomibox packaging was lovely. Bright pink box and bold, stripey tissue paper. It’s always so well put together.
Etude House My Beauty Tool Lovely Etti Headband $5.20 / £6.40
When I think of Kbeauty, I have to admit to also thinking of the adorably cute Etti cat headband. Perfect for keeping your hair away from your face when you are doing your skincare. Or when you are doing your make up. It’s cute, it’s fun and it definitely screams Kbeauty. It also means you can take adorable selfies for those Kbeauty Instagram posts!
Son & Park Beauty Water Travel Size 60ml – Full size – $30.00 /£27.00
I’ve heard a lot of good things about this beauty water.
It’s a little gem as it can triple up and work as a cleanser, toner and refresher.
This 60ml is such a handy size too. Also gently exfoliating, whilst moisturising your skin, this beauty water contains willow bark, papaya extract, lavender water, rose flower water and coconut. What’s not to love?
Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder – $7.00 / £8.00
This is another Kbeauty product that is a bit of a cult classic. I know a lot of people that regard this as a Holy Grail item and one they wouldn’t be without.
It contains natural Jeju minerals that will leave the skin bright and soft. Due to its unique formula, it restores the balance of oil and moisture so you can achieve a more even skin tone.
The powder puff is so incredibly soft too and provides the perfect way to apply this mineral powder.
Benton Honest TT Mist – $11.00 / £10.48
I really love Benton products and I’ve actually been wanting to try this for a while. I was really pleased to see it in the November 2016 Bomibox.
This mist is made with 85% Tea Tree water & extracts and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Use this to soothe & refresh dry, exhausted skin. I really love mists and use them a lot and this one feels really moisturising and refreshing. It’s not drying at all and my sensitive, dry skin just drank it up.
COSrx Ultimate Moisturising Honey Overnight Mask $16.00 / £14.88
Yet another product I’ve had my eye on for a while. It has 85% propolis and royal jelly.
Use this as the last step in your nightly skincare routine to soothe, calm, nourish, and moisturise. While you are getting your beauty sleep, this gorgeous mask will be working its magic on your skin and you will wake up with soft, bright, hydrated and dewy skin.
Etude House Collagen Eye Patch – $1.30 x1 / £4.44 10pk
I am familiar with these collagen eye patches, as I have used them once before. They contain 1% collagen, Green Tea and Vitamins A & E to moisturise, tighten and improve elasticity.
They will help to soothe tired eyes. Perfect to use before moisturising and makeup application in the morning too, as they help diminish fine lines and puffiness. Or use it as part of your night-time skincare routine. The results aren’t out of this world amazing but they do refresh your eye area and help to reduce puffy morning eyes and minimize fine lines somewhat. Just don’t expect miracles!
Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Rose Mask – $1.20 each / £13.00 x 15 sheets
I’ve used this mask a few times and I really like it. These masks are known for their natural ingredients and they are great for sensitive skin.
This rose one is particularly nice. It has a subtle rose scent and leaves your skin feeling soft, hydrated and brighter. They are a pretty good fit too.
Leaders Insolution Mel-atox Skin Clinic Mask – $4.00 each / £17.90 x 10 pk
Leaders is a brand I’m pretty sure I’ve never had the pleasure to try. I have heard good things about their masks though, so I am really looking forward to trying this sheet mask.
This mask is a favourite among many due to its brightening properties. Transforming dull, tired-looking skin to radiant and glowing skin; leaving you with a youthful glow.
Bonus – COSRX Samples
There was a nice selection of COSRX samples in the November 2016 Bomibox too. The COSRX samples were: Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid, Galatomyces 95 Whitehead Power Essence, and BHA Blackhead Power Liquid.
Overall Thoughts About November Bomibox
The November 2016 Bomibox is a really great box for me. There are only 2 items that I have tried before and both of those I am happy to have again because they were pretty good.
There’s a nice selection of skincare items and only 1 make-up item. I really love that Bomibox puts its focus mainly on skincare items and you never receive too many make-up products. It’s one of the reasons I loved Bomibox to begin with.
Making Tough Choices
I had to make a tough decision last month, as that time I got hit with customs, as to whether or not I should continue my subscription or cancel it.
I do think it’s excellent value for money if you live in the US and don’t have to pay to ship.
Outside of the US, you do have to consider the shipping charges and you may have to pay customs charges on top.
As a blogger, I have to try out different subscription boxes so I always have more than one subscription on the go at any one time. I had to be brutally honest with myself and admit I couldn’t really afford to continue paying for Bomibox with the risk of customs charges each month.
If Bomibox were my only box, I would happily continue with it; regardless of shipping and customs fees.
To help with that though, Bomibox has implemented the option to skip a month now though, which means you could sign up but skip every other month, making it bi-monthly and a lot more affordable.
I might consider doing that at some point in the near future.
Cutting Back on Subscription Boxes
I have cut back on all my subscription boxes though, not just this one. For one, I am not made of money and two, this time of year I have a lot of Fibro flare-ups, so there will be times when I haven’t got the energy to blog. I would only stress if I knew I had boxes sitting there, piling up waiting for review. So I’ve cut back completely for the time being.
Honestly though, if you love Kbeauty I would highly recommend Bomibox. They curate great boxes and the founder, Ru, is a really lovely person. They interact with the ABcommunity and have great customer service too. They’re just really lovely.
You also get a 100% Happiness Guarantee with Bomibox.
100% HAPPINESS GUARANTEE
If you’re not happy, send the box back and you get a replacement box or a refund, your choice with no questions asked. The End
